It appears she has calculated that was an impossibility, although it's also unclear whether she would have managed to
get onto the ballot here at the convention this late in the game — even with state Democratic Party Chairman Jay Jacobs» change of heart about the ballot.
As pointed out
here, this was the epitome of the environmental movement's failure to actually be movement: it could
get people to upload their anxiety
onto the web, but it couldn't
get them out into the streets, or even to the
ballot box, under one cohesive idea.
