I want to post this every once in a while as an encouragement and support for pastors struggling to stay in or
get out of the ministry.

I don't spend time in my study figuring
out how to save the world, how to grow the church, how to
get more money
out of people's pockets, how to promote this church's
ministry, how to enthrall our people more with sexy worship music, how to make myself more awesome before my people, how to
get more people to hear about and come to our church.
The only Muslims even talking to gang members are ones trying to
get them
out of gang violence, the same as any Christian
ministry in North America.
I
get the privilege
of hanging
out with a lot
of emerging churches and twenty something
ministries.

Ministries (HIM), does not
get paid he willingly shows his bank statements to the congregation, in hopes that they will understand where the money is really going and with that said he keeps 100 dollars in his account and lives off
of that for a whole month and the rest
of the tithes and offerings go to 13 different
ministries, divided evenly and the Church helps
out at least 3 - 4 missionaries and the youth group
of the Church all in separate accounts, this is a Church
of around 68 to 80 people every Sunday this is not a big Church but God has blessed this man beyond measure and continues to do so this Church can be found in Saint Joseph Missouri, Pastor Larry Gray.

of scripture for their personal finances) / meet with lay leaders regularly / keep a good account
of the finances / prepare a financial report bi annually /
I've been in full time
ministry,
got fired, struggled for decades with my self - identity as a construction worker to raise a family, and ended up joining a Church where I had a snowball's chance in hell
of getting ordained but still held
out hope, but it has never happened after 14 years now.
I feel like church
ministry might be my place, but I have seen way too many ministers burn
out, be voted
out, and recently
get laid off
out of the blue.
That is why later in Jesus»
ministry, He
gets accused
of casting
out demons by the name
of Beelzebub (Matt 12:24).
There was a time in life where I felt God call me
out of youth
ministry and promise me a career that would better fit who I was as a person while
getting to actively serve Him in
ministry.
Since I believe that my complex unity
of the
ministry thesis, argued
out through analysis
of images
of function, has a chance
of getting the wine
out of the vats before fermentation has gone on too long, I intend in this volume a message both
of hope and challenge for the
ministry.
I guess I am just wanting to encourage individual Christians to not rely solely on letting the big
ministries do all the
ministry, but for each one
of us to
get out there and
get involved in the lives
of others.
Some use planting as a way to
get out of a bad current
ministry job.
How many churches go
out of their way to form
ministries and singles groups where Christian guys and gals can really
get to know each other and grow relationships?
Many financial
ministries focus on
getting people
out of debt and helping them stay
out of debt while also building wealth to create economic security.
it is a blessing to
get encouragement myself as well each time i send
out my dayspring cards as part
of my
ministry... the home decor and tote bags / jewelries are such inspiring encouragement:)
