Every 2 or 3 weeks, all grains, seeds and spices come
out of my
pantry and
get transformed into my yummy granola!
How can I
get a meal
out of pasta and a handful
of pantry items?
I usually keep a well stocked
pantry with ingredients I know will help
get me
get in and
out of the kitchen fast!
This time, when I was cleaning
out my
pantry, I found a can
of cherry pie filling that needed to
get used.
I have had a box
of orzo sitting around for 1.5 years and while cleaning
out my
pantry this weekend, I figured I would find a recipe just to use it up and
get rid
of it.
We're clearing
out our
pantry in preparation for a move, so I used an odd combination
of flours to
get rid
of what we had without buying more, and it still turned
out so delicious.
I'm trying to empty
out my
pantry before traveling all summer, and that substitution would go a long way toward
getting rid
of some
of the flour / grains I've
got stashed away!
I will soon though, it just ended up being a longer post than I had expected and I feel like it's going to

Sure, there's nothing like a big traditional bowl
of white pasta with red sauce, but ever since I've been introduced to lentil pasta, I can't bring myself to cook regular white pasta anymore... I mean, I probably could if it's all I had in the
pantry (LOL) but my body prefers it to be lentil or chickpea or edamame pasta, because I'm selfishly
getting something more
out of it... protein!
If I know I've
got some in the
pantry, I'm
out of bed the FIRST time the alarm goes off (as opposed to the SEVENTH time).
They know how to
get the cheese sticks
out of the fridge and fruit bars
out of the
pantry, and only my 2 year old needs any help unwrapping things.
Kids don't
get it unless they see you donating food, cleaning up your neighbors trash, opening the door, sorting food for a
pantry, and most importantly
getting out of your little world.
Get ready to dust off your chakras, dig those old yoga pants
out of the back
of your drawers, and uncover those expired health products from your
pantry because this year is going to be a year
of soul.
It turns
out, Angela has helped a lot

Add to your
pantry slowly, trying one new thing at a time — really explore that new item to

It could also mean, ahem, spring cleaning - maybe it's time to finally clean
out your closet or

of those three - year - old canned goods in the
pantry?

of our home * replaced the old tile on our fireplace with stacked stone * replaced our white sink with a new stainless steel one
I have a feeling if I organized my
pantry shelves a bit more, I'd
get fewer complaints about being
out of ketchup when the bottle is sitting right there!
It has made me smile each time I went to
get something
out of the
pantry this week.
