this tells me that the financial prudence we have extolled as prudent for the clubs future and for the adherence to FFP is really a smoke and mirrors situation we need a striker (opinions differ to which one) we need cover for Le Coq (again opinions differ) and maybe we need one other in another area of the pitch, but if we don't get them we wont be better than we were this year and we wont move closer to the real glory.

.2 nd I think we have more pressing needs further up the pitch and we should only be getting involved with this dude after we have sorted out our striker situation and not before, he will not come.cheap and all that dosh will be better use getting a proper striker because that is where we lost the championship this season and needs addressing sooner rather than later

I think he was bought more as a Welbeck replacement (2nd striker) than a Giroud replacement (1st striker) and don't think we could have got any better as a 2nd striker for the price.
