We do advise trying to
get to the house pretty close to dark as there aren't a lot of street lights in Belize.

pretty sure I pulled from the dirty laundry because that's what happens when it's 5AM and your feet are cold and you can't find the match
to the sock you had on when you fell asleep) and then I cleaned up the
house,
got out of my pajamas, and went on a trail run with one of the most kind and generous and hilarious human beings I've ever known.
The following scenario is
getting pretty common at our
house: we've invited friends or family over for dinner and I've promised
to be in charge of dessert and appetizers while my husband takes care of the main course.
My boyfriend and I rented a big
house and a bunch of bikes for a week and invited friends and family
to come for as long as they could (Tip: You can
get people
to do
pretty much anything for you when you turn 30).
We've had
to endure a rough winter that kept us
pretty much holed up in a
house in an area where we didn't know anyone, find new doctors, deal with unexpected leaks and minor floods (twice),
get used
to where things were located and how
to navigate the traffic patterns.
Summer is a great time
to make candy because there is no oven
to heat the
house up, that is not
to say things didn't
get hot, because stirring hot sugar waiting for it
to come
to the right temperature can
get pretty hot.
It was
getting pretty late so we decided my mom should at least come
to our
house, but by the time she
got there I felt we should just go in.
From
getting out of the
house, going shopping, riding through the park,
to visiting your pals, enjoying fresh air with your baby is just
pretty awesome when you have a stroller.
It's also
pretty hard
to get out of the
house in the middle of potty training because, well, when they've
got ta go, they've
got ta go, and sometimes they've
got to go half way through the drive
to Grandma's
house.
Finances,
housing situation, double the baby stuff,

get new car (if needed), read up on dethroning child # 1
to prepare for # 2 and # 3, read up sleep schedules again, research every possible online resource known
to moms
to make life easier (diapers, formula — never needed it before,
pretty sure I might need it this time — grocery delivery, food delivery).
Most of the time, we survive this setup
pretty well, but every few months or so, I think
to myself, I have
to get out of the GD
house!
i have hit my hubby
pretty hard trying
to get out of bed, i've sprinted across the
house, and ran into walls and doors.
I feel
pretty doomed, and I'm looking for ways
to actually be able
to get out of the
house to save some of my sanity.
As a work - at - home mom of two, I know how very fortunate I am that I
get to stay home with my little ones while providing for my family, and I am reminded how very fortunate I am

Before the midnight hits and it all turns into a lovely mess with a full

I spend a lot of time at my family's river
house during the summer and the water is
pretty murky so light colored bathing suits tend
to get dingy after a while.
I have
pretty much resigned myself
to the fact that it's going
