I thought I would never
get tired of the warm weather (and I'll admit — I don't ever
get tired of wearing sundresses and flip flops, and how light my suitcases are when I
travel), but I
get so nostalgic when I see
photos of leaves falling, snow... I now dream about WINTER!
A
travel tripod really comes in handy when trying to
get the perfect landscape shots, videos, or for taking my own
photos with a remote.
I
got my retina scanned so I can go through the airport faster when I
travel, for instance, or we go on Facebook to share
photos.

Side note: I really would love to
get a zoom lens for our camera to capture some
travel photos — we just have a fixed one right now and it's impossible to photograph anything from a distance.
This silk swing dress is by one of my favourite Australian labels Stevie May, I think this was one of the pieces I was most excited to wear the whole week, but I actually don't think the
photos worked out to do it justice, so I may take it with me on our next tropical
travel destination and
get Mario to reshoot it for me.
The second weekend was much less dramatic, and much more creative,
getting to bounce around town with Ashley eating boozey lunch and taking
photos, our normal
traveling routine.
These are great tips, i've always wondered how people
get great

traveling alone.
But the plus side is I've
got plenty of outfit and
travel photos lined up and (almost) ready to go.

I also have a non-DSLR Sony camera that I

travel, however I don't really use it as I think the latest iPhone takes just as good / sometimes better
photos and is more portable.
Editing, okay, so this still involves the computer but I have a TON of

get through from our
travels and I am
getting through posts to share soon.
I wish I could
travel more often and even when I do, I have no one to take
photos for me so i always
get sad about that.

The
photos are great - I love
traveling by train as well but it looks like you
got a good view just the same.
But with that being said, I think as a plus size Korean American, I definitely do not
get nearly as much traction on social media, compared to the skinny blondes like The Blonde Abroad who has thousands of people following her and trying to
get her exact
photos which i have seen over a millions times by all the other
travel bloggers like her.
I started out wanting to just have a place to put my
travel photos and now my goal is to
get better at telling stories through
photos and my writing; I want to tell real stories about realizing your full potential, gratitude and living in the present, overcoming challenges, and opening yourself up to a new way of thinking through discovering new cultures.

I pack a compact tripod on all of my trips because I
travel solo often and it's the only way I'm able to
get certain shots with myself in the
photo.
