The main game will likely take you around 6 - hours to blast through, but the Complete Story edition which I've got in for reviews also offers up the Goblin Menace DLC, which tells the tale of the heroes return after the events of main storyline.

I just finished Tales of Berseria, the story keep me going, since the game design is inferior to past entries, while combat is more streamlined like with Nier you either make little to no effort or even just leave autoplay, OR you get constantly one shot which if it were playing coop it'll make sense, but constantly reviving the cpu allies, got tiresome, also I might not get it, but it doesn't make sense to me that you get more experience points in lower difficulties, especially when enemy levels are doubled on higher difficulties.

And then suddenly in the second half the game's narrative kicks things into top - gear and plot points and twists start to get thrown at you in fast succession, though mostly they just add more layers to the existing tale and don't answer any questions you might have, which is almost as frustrating at times as the sluggish pace of the first half.

Obviously by this point a few revelations would have been taken away from the finale, but I feel that by doing so we'd get a stronger tale delivered throughout the game.

it's games like Fable 2, Star Ocean, Tales of Vesperia, Alan Wake, etc, that get me pumped about the 360, not «hey kids, FFXIII is ALSO coming to the 360!»

It's a lightweight tale with little in the way of complication or intrigue, but some substance is added by the fact they've got Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, who play Thor and Loki respectively in the movie, onboard to voice their characters in - game.

For the purpose of review I didn't check out too many of these, but the scenes that I did opt into were clearly trying to be similar to the skits one sees in Tales games where you get a fun little bit of banter or an event with one or more of the party members.

Honestly this months Games with Gold is just as bad, the only good game is Tales from Borderlands, which PS + owners got a few months ago.
