i can
feel love
for him throughout my heart and soul... i want to grow old with this man... i am 47 and he is 45... he has never been married... he said there is not a chance of
getting back together again regardless of how we
feel towards each other because we committed adultery and God will never forgive us and it will be wrong to do so... so am i supposed to go on living my life being so deeply in love with this man i can never have...
why would God put him in my life to make me
feel so spiritually happy, so wonderful, so at peace with myself and someone I can finally worship Him with just to take him away from me... I've never been with someone who was so religious and i thought this was it... i finally have someone to read the bible with and go to church with and put God first and share things with my self and my daughter as a loving relationship would be....

But despite intellectual challenges, issues in his personal life and emotional swings, Lewis is ultimately remembered
for his writings on faith: Even when it meant putting aside momentary
feelings of uncertainty: «Faith, in the sense in which I am here using the word, is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted, in spite of your changing moods... That is
why Faith is such a necessary virtue: unless you teach your moods «where they
get off,» you can never be either a sound Christian or even a sound atheist.»

Arsenal personnel are too simple minded and i think this stems from the personality of the manager, i strongly doubt the players
felt the emotion of s lost of two points, compared to that of the fans, we need personnels to be benched and shown that they have to work

for some players and position, thats
why our captain
felt like a point was ok, thats

I think it might have been Parlour that said Wenger doesn't like confrontation and he gives me that impression as well, I

Got ta admit, we wasted money on Xhaka,
why not spend the 30 + mil on a striker of class early in the window before the price escalates, or that 17mil of perez plus 30 of xhaka and bid 50

why is that upon all these stats
why do I
get the
feeling that if top teams in the world were given the chance to sign only one of an in form Wilshere and in form Walcott both at their best everyone will be going
for Wilshere.I keep telling people that even some of the players we rate as world class are useless in so many stats.
For example some players you rate over some players might have inferior stats as compared to the ones you don't rate.I'd be happy if people would use stats to.compare players always as you do here instead of using their eyes to judge in some cases and use stats to justify themselves in some cases.
It baffles me

Well written, but I think it will fall on deaf ears, my fear is as follows, it will take a loss in money

Hahaha that's very true.At times you
get the
feeling that even we don't know what we want. However, the strikers Arsenal should be targetting are: Lukaku, Aubameyang, Belotti and Chiharito if everything fails. All these players would improve us massively in terms of goalscoring and to me they are all worth their prices.I also
feel Arsene Wenger doesn't know what he wants that's
why he ends up panic buying as usual.I wouldn't be angry at all if he signs only one player and that is a world class striker. We have quality in the other positions but the players just lack form.As
for the CF role we have no quality.Wenger should wake up
for once. This is his chanceto pounce
for Aubameyang.
off topic guys
why are you guys
feeling sorry
for wenger at the booing he
got from the station??
Felt exactly the same way, maybe not like crying but certainly frustrated seeing how other clubs acquire our players and make them fit perfectly on their game, Jenk and Song covering the back and well now
feel like crying, FAB leader in assists commanding the Midfield and responsible
for Chelsea being on top of the league, meantime let's face it, lately our players are running on the pitch like wild geese with no clear tactics, abusing this tiki taka BS, running thru the middle like rams with no clear options,
getting injured in the process and we all know
why and who is responsible, enough said...
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to
get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in
for several years now or that things are going to
get much worse before they
get better...
why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification
for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already
felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them
feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have
gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order
for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart
for now
Once emotions subside, I
get drawn back to the realization that those around Wenger knows exactly

feel the prospects are
for our club's future.
Playing devils advocate to my own

why not go in with a bargain offer and return with a better one instantly WHEN it was rejected... but you don't

obviously its hard / impossible to know what is really going on with him still at our dugout but i have had this
feeling of sm fishy stuff going on upstairs, almost to a point where i
felt sympathetic towards le prof.i couldn't take it anymore, seeing my club detriment this low was unbearable, geting humiliated not once, not twice, not thrice i couldn't help but say enough is enough, this heart ache is way too much, we need fresh ideas fresh evrything.my Question is
why would le prof put himself through all this,
getting his face tarnished taking the punches
for upstairs bosses
for adecade or more?
Why in the hell???? No one

why keep him I really was fed up watching his strops on the pitch last season and now he wants us to

That problem could

It is Shaws contract the reason
why I
feel we should go

Picture this, we don't come out of the gate firing on all cylinders, Wenger speaks of how there wasn't enough time
for the first - teamers to build chemistry, several key players aren't even playing because of Wenger's utterly ridiculous policy regarding players who played in the Confed Cup or the under21s and the boo - birds have returned in full flight... if these things were to happen, which is quite possible considering the Groundhog Day mentality of this club, how long do you think it will take
for Wenger to recant his earlier statements regarding Europa... I would suggest that it's these sorts of comments from Wenger which are often his undoing...
why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started...
why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be come Friday, let alone on September 1st...
why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point considering how many times his own words have come back to bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea of having to answer to the likes of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge, when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand of football and success
felt like a forgone conclusion, but this new Wenger led team barely resembles that team of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad of excuses, a plethora of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind of funny that when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle of last season, we can't
get an intelligent word out of him, but when we just what him to show his managerial acumen through his actions, we can't seem to
get him to shut - up... I beg you to prove me wrong Arsene
Time
for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to
get rid of
for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he
got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should
get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should
get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to
get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous
for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question
feel good about the way their future potential employer
feels about them)... in order
for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as
for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal
for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money
for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul...
for me it's time to
get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason
why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid
for Suarez, or that we couldn't
get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up
for half the price he eventually went to Juve
for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness
for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
I think mahrez hoped
for a move from leceister after his stellar performance and dint
get it that's
why he
felt discouraged and lost motivation to play.
I
feel if we have a bad season then kroenke will lose money might have to do a Milan in order to
get back where we belong the board and wenger are selling deadwood and use it to post a huge profit to line their pockets What is going on with mustafi
why are we loaning him out,
why did we sell Gabriel After Sunday
why would any of our targets come to us The players have stopped playing
for wenger and are leaving
for ambition not money This is a new low
for wenger and he ruined his Leah's you by extending your in the summer
It's the fans that keep sacrificing because this team can't
get their head out of their own ass... please give me some examples when a top club ever let their best player leave
for free at the end of a season... Wenger needs to go to PSG and
get some money and talent
for Sanchez so that we can end this nonsense once and
for all... then he needs to publicly apologize
for the way in which they handled the whole situation... if they allow Sanchez to go
for free there is no way this club, under the tutelage of Kroenke and Wenger, will ever layout the necessary coin to replace such a talented player, especially considering that Wenger will be a lame - duck manager once again in the final year of his contract and we know how well that went last year... open your eyes people, Wenger has spoken publicly about how he hopes that the next manager can take this club to the next level... WHAT?!?... he then went on to speak about leaving them in the perfect position to be successful, which is one of the reasons
why several pundits felt Wenger would leave after last season based on the financials and the fact that so many players had only one year left on their respective contracts... who says this shit??? If you believe you're leaving things in the best possible shape for your potential successor to achieve greatness it raises a couple of serious questions: Why can't you take things to the next level if everything is as great as you s

I think Arsenal fans never ever learn.Giroud is a player that even if we played Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Maradona, Henry, Vieri, Inzaghi and all the the other greatest strikers to play with and compliment bla bla bla he'd still be average. Can't we just wake up.It's so annoying that people continue to rate. He's not Arsenal's worst ever player but he's one of Arsenal's worst ever strikers in terms of finishing and note I only considered finishing. What's all this
why can't people see him
for the average player he is along with other several Arsenal players who are average.

why do you

getting there form at that time aswell
get ur head out ur arse,,
One thing I've never quite understood about Wenger is his unwillingness to pay the slightest amount more than he believes a player is worth, now almost everyone would agree that Wenger has a phenomenal eye
for talent but I've always
felt he
gets pushed out by a players price tag, maybe I'm unfairly blaming him and it's the board but if he does decide Benzema is the man to bring in,
why not pay an extra # 5m or so to secure him?
