Funny you ask this because I'm working on a post for next week with tips for
getting a smooth finish with chalk paint!
Can you tell me what method you use to
get a smooth finish with the paint, i.e., brush, roller (if so, what nap), sprayer, etc.?

get a smoother finish with a good paint.
Not exact matches
My blender was breaking in the process but I held it together
with masking tape, paper towels and brute force so that I could
get the soup
smooth enough and
finish blending.
What I really struggle
with is
getting a
smooth finish.
To
get a
smooth finish, dip your spatula in a glass of very hot water and quickly wipe it
with a paper towel before running it around the edges of the cake.
Once the cashews are
finished soaking, rinse them very well and place them in your blender together
with four cups of filtered water, then blend for one minute until you
get a
smooth milk.
It's an optional step, but when I was
getting ready to use it in lasagna I took an immersion blender and pureed my cherry tomato sauce after cooking it for a
smooth finish with body.
I ended up
finishing it
with my immersion blender and that
got it to be silky
smooth very quickly.
Looks much more confident and dangerous on the ball, his passes have been excellent,
got himself a goal
with a very
smooth finish, then followed up instantly
with the assist.
Had them for breakfast
with poached eggs,
got great
smooth finish with the fat from the yolk.
As soon as I
got to the car I put it on and it was amazing, it's sooo creamy and
smooth and the pigmentation is great, it applied perfectly and even
with one swipe and has a great velvety
finish and stays very moisturized.
Get a flawless
finish right from the start
with primers that control shine and prep the skin's surface for
smoother makeup application and longer wear.
I find that the product goes on best
with a beauty blender to
get the
smoothest finish, but since the product is so thin it absorbs kind of a lot.
What I don't love about it, is that you don't
get as
smooth of a
finish as you
get with regular ole latex paint.
With a
smooth, velvety
finish it gives your lips a slight gloss, yet still stays put on the lips and you don't have to worry about it
getting all over the place when you eat or drink something.

I use it pretty much daily at this point and
with so many different types of highlighter formulas and each time I
get the same butter -
smooth, glowy
finish.

You can wet sand
with 220 or higher wet sandpaper (its black) in between the coats of the poly to
get a super
smooth finish.
The best course of action at this point is to
finish the course of antibiotics and to
get some
smooth wet food (not chunky - I find Hills and Royal Canin best) mix
with a little water until it is toothpaste consistency and to slowly syringe the mixture into her mouth for her to lick up.
To repent: Save your money and
get paper
with a plain
smooth finish.

I'm able to

smooth finish simply by going over my brush marks while still wet
with a small dense foam roller.
You can always use a roller, I just like to
get it done as quick and painless as possibly
with a
smooth finish.
After sanding the entire piece lightly
with some 220 grit sandpaper to
get it nice and
smooth, I added a topcoat of The Real Milk Paint Co's Dead Flat
finishing cream.
Hi Val — When making chalk paint
with PoP, it can be a little harder to sand, not impossible, but you may have to add more elbow grease to
get the painted
finish smooth.
