why did nt wenger get someone better after all the warnings to
get a striker before the season begun
I wasnt too sure about
getting a striker before the match but now i think all of our minds are made up (hopefully Wenger too)
Not exact matches
he and Ozil should wait till Wenger
gets a reliable
striker before they sign.
i really like this guy and think once he
gets settled and forgets his injury he will be a top
striker, i think we should extend his contract now
before he becomes sort after by other big clubs,
Cazorla is far better than Ozil in my opinion... We wasted 42M to replace our best player (Cazorla was Arsenal best player the season
before we bought Ozil)... Don't
get me wrong, Ozil is good but we should have invest that money on a much needed position, maybe a
striker (Bitty that the stubborn one didnot
get Higuain for less than 30M) or a defender...
The Lyon president made several statements or maybe the media
before we
got our
striker.
Don't
get me wrong as I am happy we have Xhaka but its silly that we spent # 35 mil
getting him and we have waited until a week
before the window closes to
get our priorities: a CB and A
Striker
Now you may not see the spuds as any sort of threat, in the transfer market or the Premier League, but perhaps Wenger is worried about the possibility of them convincing the prolific
striker and his Portuguese club that White Hart Lane is a good alternative to Arsenal because The Mirror is now reporting the news from Portugal that we have
got the 28 - year old forward to sign a pre-contract agreement
before the transfer window officially opens.
I
get what you're saying I really do and maybe just maybe with a little luck we could have
got a positive result but firstly my argument is why would you pay # 50m for a
striker and not play him and why would you play someone in defence that's never played there
before against the best team in England, secondly we have had referee decisions go our way many times but that's just how it goes.
That all threatened to change when Aguero
got past Aurier just
before the half hour mark and goalkeeper Kevin Trapp was forced to leave his goal to make a desperation challenge to keep Aguero at bay — but his tackle was clumsy at best, bowling the
striker over and handing Manchester City a penalty, while earning himself a yellow card that could easily have been a red.
The equaliser seemed to spur on the Scots and they re-took the lead just

striker Fletcher scored his first of the game with a scruffy effort, then Maloney scored his second from the spot
before Everton man Naismith also
got in on the act.
.2 nd I think we have more pressing needs further up the pitch and we should only be
getting involved with this dude after we have sorted out our
striker situation and not
before, he will not come.cheap and all that dosh will be better use
getting a proper
striker because that is where we lost the championship this season and needs addressing sooner rather than later
I don't
get it, weren't we looking for a quality
striker before this injury?.
Got ta admit, we wasted money on Xhaka, why not spend the 30 + mil on a
striker of class early in the window
before the price escalates, or that 17mil of perez plus 30 of xhaka and bid 50 for Lakaku, we still need a
striker and the Sanchez experikent has to stop now its enough, I need more from ozil guys, I really do, ive always felt that, and I rate Coq over eleneny, xhaka, ramsey
I said «This is 2014, football evolves every few seasons, now players should be flexible and not one dimensional like it was many years go, today's AMF has
got to be able to create, assist, score and track back, CM the same thing,
strikers have
got to be able to work the channels, hustle defenders, assist and sccore,
before a
striker was a 20 - 25 goals, now they are pushing 30 - 35 goals.
before we even replace them let's
get a
striker better than giroud, our greatest letdown IMO has been our pathetic finishing and ofcourse wenger.
Arsenal may not
get a massive transfer fee for the Chilean
striker when he only has a few months to go
before being available on a free transfer, but that would be better than nothing.
But, he should have had another 2
before he scored, I think we need to be patient with Theo, people attack him for not making the correct runs or lacking the instinct of a
striker, but for this he simply needs time, games is how he will learn this, I would think he is
getting good advice from AW and perhaps our new U18s Attacking coach The King can give him some tips.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go
before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the
get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real
striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to
get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
Benzema is the only Real Madrid true
striker and starter, Madrid has to
get replacemnt for him
before they let him go which is difficult at this time because you could not find CF in the market right now.Yes, there are players like lewandowski, Cavani, Higuaín, Lacazzette, Gotze but are they really in the market? Is it easy to
get them at this time?I doubt it.
50 - 70 mil
striker might win you crucial games in EPL and CL... If we
got that one we won't be knocked out every time from 16 - round of the CL, we might have taken the chances that we had against Utd and Chelsea... With this type of thinking we lost our title the season
before when we were top of the league and I genuinely believe we lost that to City because we did not add
striker as a main reason...

before he finally
got Welbeck) since he can play
striker.
Wenger was asked about this today, as reported by ESPN, and the reason for him not signing a centre back or a utility player

striker in, even though the signing of Danny Welbeck may not have happened if Giroud had not been injured.
It is only a matter of time
before we start
getting lots of Arsenal transfer rumours linking us with a summer transfer bid for Romelu Lukaku, after it was revealed by Sky Sports and other sporting websites that the Belgium international star has rejected the new contract that is being offered to him by his current club Everton, so I thought I would
get in early and ask whether you Arsenal fans out there would like the Gunners to go for this powerful, prolific and Premier League proven
striker?
The pre-season games should give our young

We don't address our needs on time, imagine how long
before we
got a real
striker in lacazette after we have been wasting money on lesser alternatives like chamakh, e.t.c the best players we have have the worst physios.
IF wenger promotes Akpom and does not buy another
striker, not only will this be a massive betrayal of the fans as its clear we need a proven and experienced
striker to push Giroud to fight for his place, but also this could have the affect of destroying Akpom
before he really
gets started I for one really hope this doesn't happen, BUT i wouldnt be surprised if the penny pinching mentality
gets the better of the boss
Welbeck needs to be give a decent run in the team as a
striker before fans can start judging remember he played out on the left for a majority of games for man u and
got very little chance to play as a
striker hence thats why his goal scoring record looks nothing special but that can change with us he has good pace technically very good and i personally think he will do a good job just give him a chance!

and in my opinion im not fussed khedira isnt coming if the rumours are tru i would rather gustavo a much better option at cdm and more disciplined in the position then its just a a
striker wich we may be able to
get away with if reus is signed walcott fit rw, reus lw, alexis in the middle with those three up front NO defence in EPL will be able to keep up we exploit teams defences like never
before.......
«hmm...
got ta wait until this Nwakali deal is wrapped up
before I pursue a
striker!!
I will just point out some of the things a new manager would bring, like... 1) Signings
before the last day of the window 2) Better fitness preparation for less injuries 3) New tactics and ideas on how to break teams down and how not to
get hammered by top clubs 4) Players that will fill the gaps we've had with the keeper, the defense, and the lack of a good
striker 5) Rotations, so we don't wear our team down.

get thumbs down, the
strikers are examples not necessarily players I think we can or shouldsign
if coq
gets injured we will be having flamini / arteta in cdm + need a new cdm & a

The extra fitness and confidence that the big
striker will hopefully
get at international level is good news for the Gunners, of course, but it is also very important for the player himself, as he now finds himself with extra competition at club level after Arsene Wenger completed the transfer of the Spanish forward Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna
before the summer window closed on Wednesday.
Arsenal are linked with
striker after
striker at the moment and it's
gotten to the point where it seems increasingly unlikely we will secure any of our targets
before the season starts.
all i know is that ozil said at a press conference a couple of days
before he signed for arsenal that he was staying at real Madrid so you never know does not mean the deal is dead to be honest i think a cdm is more of a priority then a
striker if we was to only
get one but thats just me

strikers, showed no hunger to
