book, we decided that instead of seeking out prestigious authors and reviewers for quotes — let's face it, we weren't going to
get more than maybe one or two anyway and that would
require copious amounts of begging and / or bribing — we would include snippets of
reviews from our fans.
If you've
got a solid
book (dependent upon their assessment) and the
required number of
reviews, then you can purchase an ad slot from them.
The value of
book reviews can't be understated; but
getting good
book reviews requires commitments for time and finances.
For
reviews, they say, «Reader
reviews While we do not have a minimum number of
reviews that are
required, we do look at the
reviews to
get an idea of how well the
book has been received by those that have read it.»
I would hate to think that authors believe they can somehow short - circuit the work
required to
get book reviews, because it's not that hard.
