getting cumulative updates with improvements and fixes until late 2019.
Previously, it was believed that unsupported devices would be left behind, but if you enrol in the Insider program, you'll still
get cumulative updates for this unsupported release.
Through either of these rings, you'll be upgraded to 15063, and once you're there, you can switch back to Release Preview and
get cumulative updates again.
Other than the fact that PCs are
getting a cumulative update, the past two Xbox One builds in the Alpha ring have also been build 16299, so they're aligning across the board.

I've seen many reports of
cumulative updates that refuse to install and quite a number of miscellaneous broken pieces — Start won't appear, apps crash, settings

cumulative updates prior to release to the build released to the public already but it seems like Microsoft is
getting them ready for the Fall Creators

While Fast ring Insiders only saw a single fix from the
cumulative update, Slow ring users are
getting a number of fixes, as 15063.2 replaces 15051 in the ring, so quite a bit has happened since then.
Hence you will
get a reboot of the PC if you are using Notepad.exe while installing the
Cumulative update.
From now until the release of the Creators
Update next month, you can expect to see more frequent builds (Fast ring is normally once a week), followed by an RTM that
gets offered to the Slow and later to the Release Preview ring, and then a couple of
cumulative updates prior to general availability.
