I always find it such a drama
getting dressed in the summer that I end up gravitating toward easy going basics like bodysuits and denim, then adding a bit of flare with sunglasses.
I love this summer look, and I agree, it's hard to
get dressed in the summer and not melt!
Does anyone else think of these issues when they're
getting dressed in the summer?

I tried going to my old navy, target, walmart, kohls, goodwill every store you can think of and each place either doesn't have maternity clothes or if they do it's one small rack of them and thats it and you have to be originally a size 2, I was lucky enough I
got a couple of those belly band things that has somewhat helped to stay
in my clothes and since its
summer I have just been wearing big
dresses but I'm at 5 months now and I'm worried for winter that I won't be able to find anything.
The sewing nerd
in me can never
get over unique construction details — and this
dress has them aplenty, from the perfect embroidered flowers blooming all over to the unique seaming at the front of the bodice (note to self: incorporate that into next
dress design...) Needless to say, although
summer is starting to make the rounds at the party, hugging people and gathering her coat, I plan to make her stay for one last drink and one last spin on the dance floor....

summer with the hopes of wearing it right away but I stashed it
in the closet and totally forgot about it.
And though I can definitely

In LA, it's so funny because we really have June Gloom here, so we have to wait a little longer to break out the real

Yeah, most of us just love winter for so many reasons, maybe because
