Don't get into the status game — there are no winners.»

only reason y i say this is because of Santification, once we give our life to the Lord, we streight way (so to speak) begin the process of Santification, this is Christ making us like him, and this Is SUFFERING It does nt happen over night, but for the duration of our time here, as you have said, its sort of like sin being done unto us, and we are handleing it just like Christ did, (with Love) of coarse with the help of the Holy Spirit, This Does NOT feel Good At ALL since our soulful flesh is Corrupt, (but our spirit is saved) This is were your trails and tribulation, your own desire, and All play apart, Now Moment by Moment we choose by our own will, And Jesus helps in these times, as he was tempeted, but without sin, The devil can do nothing but try and decieve the Christian into thinking that he has to work for his salvation as you have said, this thing here is about your Inheritance In Christ, Its gonna be some show nought broke christian in Heaven, because their trying to set of for themseleve trasure on earth, and their is going to be weeping and gnat of teeth, but it wont be, because of their going to Hell, It will be cause they miss out on what they could have had, and it is Devistation, cause they waste so much time, and they wont be able to attend the wedding, supper of the lamb, they wont be, getting the position over city, galacy, ectt... just check it out some of the points i have made, God Bless you!
ive been wrestling since i was 9 years old and when i went into high school i had to wrestle a girl... growing up learning to wrestle i had ended up having violent style, i never was dirty or broke rules but i was taught to do anything in your power to win whehter it was to club down the head or grab the throat to gain position etc. unfortunately i was in the postion to wrestle a girl once and at the time i did nt care who you were boy / girl, white / black / purple it did nt matter im was going to go out there bounce your head of the mat and bury you, so i went out there and wreslted the same way i always wrestled, 110 % and always to put your oppenents back through the mat i dditn change my style at all bc she was a girl i wrestled the same against everyone but after i pinned her in the first minute i did nt even realize that i broke her ribs when i power doubled through her, now after that for the rest of the tournament i was heckled and berated for forcefully beating a girl ppl were telling my parents «hey, looks like you raised a wife beater» etc. etc.... ever since then i refused to wrestle girls and thank go i eventually grew out of the lower weights, moral of the story is that is great and all that girls are wrestling but they shouldnt wrestle boys even if they know what they are getting into because 1.

Mertesacker is the type that will win headers that go towards him, but if he has to move for it then he's in trouble, but he's very good at positioning himself so it's not that big a deal, though when he does get caught out it seems to stick in my head for a while, like against Anderlecht... Players like Koscielny and Gabriel are a lot more mobile, they move and attack the ball when it's played into their area.

in: hughes from derby, kondogbia, lacazzete and the replacement of per and silva out: flamini, arteta, per, poldi, joel loan: carl, sanogo, akpom Its time to get the best players in the positions we lack of quality for so many years (hughes is a very talented player and i think he will turn into a wc player) With that squad we can be champions next year
when chambers is in there he does nt trust him enough so he runs out of position trying to cover spots Koscielny would be covering n gets caught out, Debuchy is stronger has abit of pace and very good in the air Merts trusts him and his experience that is the same for Monreal id start Monreal or Debuchy ahead of Chambers although he is impressive for his age we shouldnt be putting all our trust into a 19 year old in that position look at Stokes first goal a simple header for the first goal conceded which he completely missed.

Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
schzney is rubbish, chambers is just potential, mertersacker rubbish, monreal played out of position but in his favorite position hes rubbish, gibbs rubbish he should be in his peak years now but hes rubbish and a downgrade to the likes of cole, clichy of recent times, wilshire has potential, ramsey has potential, chamberland has potential, arteta rubbish, cazorla has digressed, welbeck potential, giroud rubbish starter decent sub, the only 3 players i believe would get into any team in the world is alexis ozil, walcott and maybe koschilney.
If we was buying the 70th CB then I would be upset but getting a few to fight it out to get into the 1st team could be good for us, I would like to see that in every position, talented prospects fighting to get into the 1st team and not just happy to be training with us because we didn't invest to put the competition there.
He was never shy of getting into scoring positions out there and seems to link well with Giroud.
wow are we sterile up top, goals need to come from defense again, ozil & cech were great, mert once again taking the brunt of bad comments meanwhile a clean sheet and did nothing wrong, open goal that was saved was kos out of position and monreal caught up the pitch too high, giroud has great ball skills, issue is his position on the pitch, watched the match again focused on giroud, he tends to camp behind the defender from the ball, this only works when you have the quickness to break, he does nt, I have screen shots where ozil is 25 yrds farther up the pitch then giroud, thisis the problem, he is rendered useless unless ozil holds up, and thats not ozils strength, thus very few sog's from giroud on the run, when giroud gets lucky w space in front of the defender, he is lethal, but needs to get into that space,
AW MUST go all out and get us another top CDM, Le Coq will still grow into this position.
I like isco, but I like him at Madrid for now... do nt think he has the physicality at the moment to fit into the pl... he'll be the perfect replacement for carzola but for now might be too soon and too much of a luxury to have at arsenal... jack needs to have some time next to le coq and lets see how that works.i guess jack and Ramsey got ta fight it out for that position, though Ramsey always seems to come a across as inconsistent n not as naturally talented as jack... ramsey will always have the odd off game with his passing and decision making.jacks seasons mostly get interrupted by injuries though I thnk he would do well alongside le coq... a backup dm would be great though in transfer window and OT: Get dyabala or watshisname... before Maureen gets his hands on himget interrupted by injuries though I thnk he would do well alongside le coq... a backup dm would be great though in transfer window and OT: Get dyabala or watshisname... before Maureen gets his hands on himGet dyabala or watshisname... before Maureen gets his hands on him!!!
The only inference we could take away from those stats is that Per Mertesacker, who has been woefully out of form this season following Germany's successful World Cup campaign, has not helped his central defensive partner's cause by being too slow and getting caught out of position too easily, forcing Koscielny into making that last - ditch effort to save his side from conceding.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
It has to come out quick, but he's getting better and making sure he's in the best position to nail it and lead the receiver into open space.
Wenger put ozil on the wing for his development one thing i do nt get is how the fans do nt see that Wenger done the same process with Wilshere, I remember when Monreal was caught out at the back post from a set piece and ozil did nt cover he just jogged abit n let monreal get beat, that would be video evidence for Ozil to learn and work on his duty to defend instead of giving him Candy like a baby n letting him be lazy in the middle not tracking back for the team its a learning process im 100 % Wenger knows ozils best position is in the centre he followed him since Shalke its obvious but Wenger develops players into world class after seeing Ozil in the world cup and coming back after the world cup i coud see he defended alot more helping out monreal on the flanks and putting in alot more effort only then once hes showed his duty in defending will he be given his free role in the middle.
I agree about Mustafi and the Cazorla link helped him out and sometimes Granit does put the CBs under pressure because he can't find a forward pass or is too scared too, but facts are facts Mustafi made 1 start at the 2014 WC & 2 sub appearances making a total of 132 minutes only in the group before he got injured, I disagree he «helped» Germany win the WC as he simply didn't play enough and didn't play any knockout games so was only a squad player who played 1.5 games in total, he can play well but tends to panick and finds himself out of position ALL the time, he is a liability diving into tackles and trying to make interceptions he has no.
No, not because he scored last night but because he is fast, strong in the tackle, cynical, brave, has guts, does not get bullied on or off the ball, gets into good goal scoring positions from set plays and corner kicks, good on the ball and can also play out from the defence.....
You'll find that if I go into names upon names like Squillacci, Cygan, Stephanov, Sylvestre, Almunia, the Fat Brazilian left back Santos, even Arshavin that Wenger didn't get the best because he played him out of position, Senderos, and on and on it goes.
I wish punk the best but i feel he like he switched to mma about 10 - 15 years too late to be competitive with anyone but i respect his heart i wouldnt be stepping inside the ufc i got into a fair amount of scrums in my teens but man im closer to 40 than 35 and i couldnt imagine trying to fight anyone at my age id probably get hit once and be knocked out or just assume the fetal position and hope the ref steps in lol
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
We don't have time for him to adapt and settle back into his role, we need someone to grasp the position and be magician feeding the forward line as well as get us out of tight spaces in defence.
never waste CAPITAL LETTERS on an article about Chambers at this juncture... I still can't believe that no one from management has ever explained why such a frugal club spent so much money on him in the first place... we haggle for months and years with clubs for players who could have a monumental impact on the very future of our club but somehow we found $ 16 million for someone who couldn't regularly crack a Southampton lineup (very fishy)... don't get me wrong, I like what he showed at times last season in Middlesbourogh but from the handful of games I watched him play I still have some serious questions about his consistency as a back - line player in the EPL; as such he should prove himself on loan for another season, making sure that he goes to a team that wants him in the starting 11... bottom line, let's not get bogged down with the semantics of peripheral players and focus on the real task at hand = figure out who the hell is going to be our starting 11 for the foreseeable future, which means getting contracts signed, getting rid of a lot of deadwood and bringing in talented players into the positions which truly need upgrading... the rest is just unnecessary noise
The 8th inning saw few hits but Team Glickman did manage to get Carter «Iron Man» Krueger into scoring position with 2 outs.
Placing Ox on the left side... another classic Wenger positional switcheroo... for the love of god can anyone tell me one positive that has come as a result of Wenger playing guys out of position in the last 6 or 7 years... I'll tell you, Cazorla playing a little deeper than he previously had and Ox last year as the right - side wing - back... he can't pass properly on the left and he is far more ineffective driving to the end line... the manager needs to make the tough decisions, either you play Bellerin or Ox on the right and the other becomes the back - up, get rid of one of the two or get rid of both of them and buy a top - class player who would be an everyday starter then develop a younger player behind him... no wonder he wants to leave... square peg into a round hole (same old, same old)
all season while we had ozil he has only been allowed to play in his main position 2 times once against villa and other against galetaseray and in this game we for the first time played with two natral wingers with ozil in the number 10 and a fast cf for the first time ever since ozil has been here and you all know the outcome, part from that wenger has shifted ozil out wide all season and turned him into a scapegoat for the media and fans but as soon as ozil gets injured the next game wenger plays with 2 natrual wingers and put wilshire in middle with cazorla, so the question is wernger trying to destroy ozil?
Our players look a lot worse than they are because they don't know what they are doing, they run around out of position and without much purpose getting into each other's way.
Bruin is very talented at what I like to call the give - and - leave, like his backheel that got Lodeiro a shot at an equalizer in the 49th minute, but Seattle looked almost out of ideas when trying to move into meaningful attacking positions.
Im sorry but im just going to hammer Giroud again, granted he was the lone frontman bit his appetite and workrate isjust appalling and he always manages to be misplaced which shows bad judgment and lack of craft for a frontman, a couple of his offside offences were from moves nearly 30secs previous and hes still too lazy to get himself back out into a position where he can help the side.
In the two Moyes matches to date it looks like Kouyate has been under orders to get forward more to support the striker with Arnautovic also getting into more central positions as his defensive responsibilities allow — in fact Kouyate and Arnautovic have taken up more dangerous positions than Carroll who has preferred to lurk out towards the edge of the area well away from where any crosses are aimed.
I stretched properly then got into position, focused and planned out my attack (just like the coach had taught me) and I took my shot....
Frank Lampard, who is set to leave the club this summer, has been named vice captain for the tournament and should have a key roll in helping to protect a lead and close games out late on... assuming England get themselves into such a favourable position.
This was the statement released by Stoke City's Shay Given as the experienced goal - keeper said that he wants to get back into the pitch and take the position away from Lee Grant and that he is working hard to make it possible but things just have not been working out for him.
When Harry Kane is out of form, he may not score, but he gets himself into positions to score.
Juve managed to get the ball into a decent position four minutes in, but Higuain didn't have the space to turn and he had to pass the ball back out.
Too often when you have a player starting out of position, or getting used to a new system, they can steam into tackles, rush to make a move and get caught out.
«That was evident and we got ourselves into a great position, a winning position because we should have seen the game out, but we've got a soft underbelly which we've had all year apparently.
Why buy players and not play them Why play players out of there natural positions to accommodate others The 2 league games Rob Holding as played this season he's had no protection in front of him Our defence is exposed to far too many 1 on1 situations IMO the easy part of football is when you have the ball the difficult bit is when you don't have the ball and the discipline of getting back into the right position we lacked this today Sorry I've written this because I've never seen a display like this from Arsenal only a couple of observations I've never cricticised Arsenal or Arsenal before Hope it can be put right
«When the wing - backs attack, there are spaces in behind them which does drag out Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta, but sometimes opposition midfield players run into those spaces as well and our midfielders have to go with them, so they get dragged out of position too but fortunately for us, Matic has the presence to cope with that, and he has confidence in his own ability.
Often played deeper to accommodate others, the more advanced role is Howson's best position and the link - up around Liverpool box helped to get Norwich back into the game — 19 out of his 24 attacking passes were completed — alongside his movement into space which was desperately missing from Norwich's play in the first half.
Don't hesitate to ask your mate for help getting into and out of bed and finding a comfortable sleeping position.
