I'm nearly out
of Better Batter, and I had a
photo shoot today and had to make multiple loaves
of GF beer bread in the last few days to perfect the
recipe, and I was in serious danger
of getting stuck without enough flour.
Adam came home from work and heated up his dinner (which happened to be a burger and sweet potatoes topped with some
of this dip) and then witnessed me obsessing over my
recipe photos to the point
of near - tears because I was convinced that I needed to re-make the
recipe on a sunny day to
get better
photos.
Don't
get me wrong, I'm the first to say the lighting / saturation / clarity
of a
photo isn't good enough or the flavor
of a
recipe isn't perfect.
I have wanted to
get this
recipe up on the blog for over a year now but every time I've made it, it's been for a family event so I haven't been able to
get good
photos of it for the blog.
And as long as you're not a ravenous food blogger who has to take dozens
of photos before sitting down to eat, you'll
get two good main dish servings or an appetizer for four from this
recipe.
I can't wait to
get my copy and indulge on more
of your fabulous
photos and
recipes.
They've added a new Kitchen page to their website full
of yogurt
recipes and beautiful
photos to
get your gears turning.
I've been using my mom's cookbooks up to now and the ones I can
get in my eastern European country are just collections
of recipes with dull
photos of dead food.

Get an updated re-tooling
of this entire
recipe with better spread, new secrets, and lots
of photos on my Food Hacker blog.
Over the years I
got sucked into the food blogger mold
of HAVING to post X amount
of times, visiting X amount
of other food bloggers, posting X amount
of photos and writing detailed accounts
of each
recipe or else being left with the feeling
of being inadequate in my role as «food blogger».
I posted the
photo on facebook as a bit
of a joke, where it
got a rousing lot
of love and
recipe requests, so I'm sharing this desperate dinner love with you, cause who doesn't like sloppy joes?
I highly encourage others to
get this cookbook if you are looking for healthy but delicious
recipes with amazing
photos of food.
Get tons
of tasty
recipes for gluten free appetizers with
photos and tips on how to make them.
I don't know what or who

It's that somewhat embarrassed feeling you
get when you see one
of your (really, really) old posts show up somewhere in internet - land and while the
recipe and post is something you are still proud to have your name attached to, the
photo's, well, um suck.
I know
photo's aren't the be all and end all, but I do know that some
of my older
recipes / posts deserve more than what they
got all those years ago.

Here's the thing, I first made this probably around the middle
of last October, but I just never

photos the way I wanted to, and since neither were perfect I ended up scratching the latte because by the time November rolled around I was onto all things Thanksgiving (who's excited... I am, but Halloween first!).
