Wenger has mostly used the second string squad at the start of any season to great effect, most teams aren't at full strength or match
fit and he plays that Wengerball numbers game, throwing in squad
players who are
fit and raring to go whilst the first team
get ready, we'll win 2 of our 3 opening games and he'd rather that than splash 100m on 3
players and
get the same amount of points.
We should be in for the likes of Griezmann AND every other world class
player that
fits our method of playing, Ive said it time and time again our squad is only half world class the rest are mediocre at best (yes I know Ill
get thumbed down ect by all the AKB's on site) but the results over the last ten years are proof alone that we are NOT good enough to compete with the other Elite teams.
I think if LACAZETTE can keep this up, he's going to claim a place in the french world cup squad next year, his goal scoring instinct is sharp, he knows he won't
get too much chances and makes use of the few ones he
gets and he was unluncky not to have scored against chelsea and his header wasn't a fluke, he knew where the post were and he directed the ball, he will be handful for defender when our complete squad starts and luckily for us he's not an injury prone
player, having him, Sanchez (if he stays), Giroud and Ozil
fit will be vital for us this season and i see plenty of goals..
As for Giroud I hope what I'm hearing is not true. You
get the feeling that once Lacazette starts scoring he just won't like it.He's also another overrated
player who's also hear because of Wenger's kindness.Apart from the fact that he's good with his head I don't see the positives of keeping here and even Welbeck. We need
players who can push Lacazette to perform and these are just not the
players.They are more of rotation
players.Do you think if Welbeck and Giroud were at top form they can challenge Laca at his best?I always laugh at our strikers though. On one hand, one doesn't
fit our style of play but at least he can finish. On the other hand, the one who
fits our style of play can't even score a goal.I can't believe we are joking with such a crucial role.I'm sick and tired of seeing average strikers in the club. It's been painful watching the likes of Bendtner and Chamakh already. Now I have to cope with this.
loose one
player,
get one back, this is the problem w afc every year, extended injuries, i think theo has spent 70 % of his time on the table, they should have made his weekely contract based on if he is
fit to play,
Like I always say, there are certain
players that can fit into Wenger's philosophy but he fails to get those kinda players IMHO Players that have excellent technicality ala Cazorla both in defence, midfield and attack especially midfield so the failure is in identifying and getting the right players for the

players wanting to leave, Alexis
fits well in to this category but also Ozil and Bellerin.
now the 4th place junkies have turned in to followers of charles darwin... though obviously not survival of the
fittest variety... i believe cologne are bottom of the bundesliga so like janis said when you ai nt

got nothing to lose including with silly praise for opposing team manager and
players...

got Brandon Guyer, who is an underrated
player and
fits perfectly with what the Indians needed, and aw, man, you
got me talking about Brandon Guyer even though I declared that I wasn't.
Im all for bringing Mahrez in if we had a full contingent of outfield
players who can
fit the bill thats required, do nt
get me wrong I rate Mahrez but all this talk of coversions to strikers ect is a thing that takes time and theres little garuntee that it will work and while we are finding out if it works or not we are again loosing games we should win through a deficit of goals and real goal scorers.
We have almost a
fit squad, we're able to introduce
players slowly, which means when we
get to the final stages of the season, we may have a good number of
fit players.
His experience at such a young age and us having one of the best playmakers in the game makes me think he'd be a perfect
fit, although I am worried it could take a season to adjust in which case I hope we can
get enough goals from other
players, maybe even play sanchez up top, if we don't win something this season
players will be leaving.

players are hardly
fit... Injuries will always set in so lets work on that and

You are spot on on Perez being better than ozil if he's given the chance, but neither of them are at wilshere's level when
fit Wilshere is aggressive, you can't
get the ball off him unless you foul him which gives us enough set pieces, he's a big game
player, watch our games against Bayern, barca, Chelsea, man city, man utd e.t.c when he plays, he creates more chances You just need to watch his games even at Bournemouth against Chelsea, which brings me back to the point that, no coach will ever play ozil while Wilshere is
fit except wenger............ Plus, ozil is a pu ** y or a weakling rather
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that
fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to
get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
If Arsene Wenger fails to win the Pl after not making a significant stellar

Yes on the right

fit in with the team you have
got.
OT: My wishes: — Wenger to stop playing Mert ahead of Gab... this is a must — Wenger being ruthless and stop being stubbornness «big wish» — Wenger to change his transfer policy «big wish as well» — Not count on very injury prone
players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce because they would never stay
fit... It is a dilemma because they are all quality home grown
players, so I can not say «
get rid of them all» — Give our smart attacking players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil) what they need, a striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another quality because all the sights now on Sanchez — Get rid of useless team players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with better players (promote or buy good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to r

I'm not sure if we have brought injury susceptible
players without a care to the sporting outcome, just
get results while they are
fit or there is gross incompetence in the contract management systems in place at BVB and those who oversee new, existing and renewals.
Ox doesn't
get to see the pitch when we have other
fit players, Ox being a CM
gets thrown out wide a lot as he isn't good enough in the middle for Wenger yet.
Wilshere
getting injured isn't new just how after Wenger does not sign a capable CF for the 4th season in a row and we finish 4th this season you will see the SAME PEOPLE around this SAME TIME next year who said the squad was good enough, you'll see there will be no injuries if everyone stays
fit so we don't need to sign
players or we don't really need any striker we have Giroud (a
player better than Rooney and Henry who it is very very very very HARD to find any better
player than him and whom some fans here will discount any other
player better than him to prove he is good enough).
Wenger prefers a starting XI when they are
fit, his rotation is horrible, then
players get injured, he gives chance to youngsters and suddenly the team looks weak with 3 - 4 of them.
Its not often I read one of your comments Budd and nod my head in agreement but on this I have to say yu are 100 % on the money Afobe will MAYBE a to notch plyer one day but right now we didthe right thing letting him go, the only thing that I will say is that we have always let
players go when the world asked why and on hindsight have been proven right, HOWEVER why have we had
players like Diaby on the books when it was clear he would never ever be
fit enough to fulfil his potential and why on earth have we currently
got Sanogoals or Wellbeck on our books whe its obvious to all and their mothers that neither of these kids will ever be anything other than average squad
players at best.
As I said, all our
players can stay
fit against the small teams but when it comes down to it and we need them, they
get injured, disgraceful.
Dier is still an important squad
player for Spurs but, he arguably doesn't
get into Tottenham's best XI when everybody is
fit.
Who cares what
players are
fit the club, manager and just about everything is a complete shambles we will
get beat tomorrow they will press us all over the park and then take full advantage of our defense can see us conceding another 2 - 3 goals!
Or, after ending up with 7
players in the first 2 rounds to
fit under the cap,
get a team to take Brandon Marshalls contract off the books by offering them a third round pick.
A trade down to
get to
players on offense would be late teens to 20s and they could look at Daniels, Wynn and Moore on O, Oliver and Evans on D. Seems more likely they go defense early and trust in Shanahan's strengths in identifying
players that
fit his system with the later picks.
And (2) that any one
player's opinion (while it is a valuable and rare perspective to
get) is not entirely useful for making a broad conclusion (and that's even before assessing the
player in question's personal situation, talent, values,
fit, etc.).
2) No leaders across the pitch: Özil for all the money is no leader but a technically gifted
player who can split a defense with an exquisite vision and pass, Sanchez for all the dribbles as the potential but is not there yet, Cazorla will never be in the conversation, Mertesacker is not
fit to be one anymore, Coquelin for all the good he has done is too tender and inexperience, Giroud no WC
player to assume the role... the only one who can seriously be a leader is Wilshere but unfortunately until he becomes consistent and set the tone with his talent and passion... 3) Mertesacker is a shell of himself and it would be an embarrassment to see him continue to play in his current form,
get Gabriel out just for the sake of showing anybody in this team that there's no place for under performers: we paid good money to
get him so play him!
In my opinion, since all three of these
players are returning after long - term injuries, I feel that they should be used sparingly by the manager and the main objective should be to
get them 100 %
fit for the next campaign.
A top class
player when
fit, Daniel Sturridge will now face a harder time
getting back into the Liverpool team due to the presence of new signings Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, plus Divock Origi returning to Anfield from loan.
I am very pleased with our fitness team, our
players look very
fit and ready to kick off, it seams Shad did great job, if you look other team they did nt reach even 50 %, while we are at least 70 80 %, considering comunity shield is next week, i think Wenger could
get his first win over Mourinho...
