His fantastic play with the ball would be enough to
get him into most manager's sides, but his lack of size and
physical contribution made
players like Oscar Mourinho's first choice at Chelsea.
«the pairing of Cazorla and Coquelin, two
players lacking pace and
physical presence as a DM duo will not
get us far» It is the first time in my life reading that Le Coq LACKS
physical presence, what the fuuk are you smoking. We just won a game of football by a large margin and you are moaning?
something new for sure will happen at the very least we will be

players the question being who...... a striker with 30 goals abomyang a central defender a midfielder new maneger who diago simone will do well with atlatico or lazio he is connected to them arsenal needs some one within its ranks some one connected to them But today we seen an ugly encounter were certain

physical strong competition to win it you
got to be very strong very accurate and very demanding and if you do not have the team to do it you do not win our team didn't live to exceptions of last season so there for changes will have to happen

get players in peak
physical condition and match ready.
We all know what happened to Ramsey, and once again we
getting threatened with
physical «tasty» treats from these Stoke
players.
Chelsea would do the same thing (as much as i hate Mourinho) he would not allow his team to become a circus just providing eye catching entertainment and made sure he would always sure up his midfield with
players that would have just enough skill to
get them out of trouble as quick as they
got into it but whose game was more about
physical endeavour and forward momentum and used the likes of Ramirez and Willian to great effect whilst allowing only one
player, Hazard to have creative freedom and even then he warned him of just how much he should do and when he should do it... keeping him in check.
After seeing a couple of games where he featured and also the one for england he's
got it all for me... 1) He has the
physical ability to offer the kind of game that our Giroud offers (back to the net: deflecting, relaying passes and 1 - 2 touches) but also 2) Pace, mobility and technical agility to offer so much more: dribbling past opponents (creating space), running / turning over defences either to lay down the killing pass to a better placed
player or finishing a through ball from our over talented midfield and all that with speed and 3) Tactical awareness, willingness to defend
players if asked (like the game Man U-Real Madrid in the CL) and could provide support not only in the air on corners!!
These
players need to be dropped, the problem again is Wenger and not having depth because he didn't
get a DMF / or
physical CMF and didn't
get a CB.

physical... also there is the fact that our

We had
players who had all the
physical tools in the world floundering out of position (Burns), and we had guys who knew where they needed to be but couldn't
get there fast enough (Dirty Red, Willie Gay).
Say what you like admin.Even Diaby upon doing nothing for several seasons was able to secure a move to Marseille which to me is a top team. Was it not last season that before he went to Bournemouth teams like Juventus and AS Roma were interested in him?He just needs a league which is not
physical for the mean time.I mean any time he
gets a run of games he begins to hit top forn and just when things are looking up things go down again. This injury thing is a menace in our club.Look at the number of games Gnabry has played. But I will urge him to leave Arsenal because all he needs to do is to remain injury free. It's not rocket science. If Wilshere remains injury free for just one season he'll be great. It's just like the Van Persie case.A lot of people were frustrated with him and cllled him man of glass but I knew he just needed to be injury free for one season. To me he's a better
player than Ramsey though Ramsey is on form.He also has the ability to surpass Cazorla and be Arsenal's number one. He's also Arsenall thrugh and through.Arsenal has to solve his injury problems because he's shown that when he
gets a run of games he can do it.
For crying loud some pundits are right, most fans are right.our decline has been the negligence from the manager to stop being stubborn and
get an imposing DM who give us solidity and confidence lost.the cbs are always exposed and lack of
physical presence that other teams beat us in midfield.5 years now and still we cant
get one just playing
players out of position or sticking to
players who have not passed the grade such us jack, ramesy, arteta so
get some money and do us a favor..
I think Arteta is a very good
player against smaller, less
physical sides where he has time on the ball, but for the big games we need someone who won't
get pushed around and bullied.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to
get himself in trouble when he
gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did
get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his
physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we
get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Also pains me to say as every game goes by the more I see the need for more dominant
physical players especially in the middle of the park... Not saying we should or ever will
get Pogba but
players of his presence... Funny Viera and Gilberto Silva comes to mind.
In the year 2023, NBA rosters are like

You
get a bit
physical with Ozil and he is out of the game, we don't have a real midfield enforcer who would go after someone for kicking our best
players.
If a man such as Arsene wenger knows about the
physical density of Monaco then here is another treat for him all Monaco
players stand at 1.80 or more that means 11
players almost 6 ft are athletic powerful knew how we play man marked alexis isolated Cazorla from ozil we would let oxide on this match cause he did something and maybe due to his willingness to change the game he
got robbed This site has become more pain since our best
players started leaving who understood what he wanted now has to incorporate on aged pros his philosophy which where it all breaks down and not to due mental exertions
we have 50 + games to play & already some
players are out if per / kos
gets injure we are fu * ked 4 sure esp against stoke & other
physical clubs moreal may have been good but it's not enough 4th place for me this season
If Arsene Wenger is at all concerned about the
players suffering from mental and
physical tiredness following our fruitless trip to Munich on Wednesday, then maybe he would be well advised to
get the Gunners to start with a bang.
From defence all the way to the prima donna striker pathetic weakling
players who can never hold their own in regards to a
physical battle on the field and always
get bullied.
2) Acknowledging that almost all his
players are at a high level of quality and the difference will be how you can be able to
get your
physical spirit to come out in your football.
I have no problem with Coquelin
getting match fitness, but I think Wenger knows the
physical and mental conditions of
players and can decide better than us.
The only advantage Arsenal have over Utd, City and Chelsea is that it will take a bit of time for their new manager's to
get familiar with their squad of
player's, aswell as their new signings needing time to settle into the team and the premier league's
physical style of football.
Not sure about his performances this season and did not watch him this season to comment on him to be honest but would be a good signing imo because he is a tall strong
physical and natural holding midfielding
player but first priority should be to
get either schneiderlin or kondogbia if they are not gettable then sign carvalho to be a backup to coquelin or play both of them in tough away games next season in champions league and premier league chelsea at stamford bridge, old traffold, etihad etc..
It's going to be interesting to see how our boys fair against Bruno Martin's Indi and Shawcross as both are despicable dirty
players that aren't afraid to
get physical.
Get players with excellent
physical attributes, like what Manchester United has done.
33 attempts at goal 75 % possession and lose comfortably it can only happen to arsenal it would be funny if not so tragic and I'm for one not buying the reason we lost is because of De Gea it's as much poor finishing as it is great goal keeping more aggression with the chances and you score I don't care who's in goal just smash it doesn't have to look pretty and I don't have to say very much about the defending it's schoolboy stuff all this talk about koscielny (bosscielny) never
got that isn't
physical enough to be an Adams or Campbell
gets muscled off the ball far too often he's a good
player don't
get me wrong but he ain't world class and definitely isn't a leader I'd replace that whole back line and drop xhaka and ramsey for new signings yeah ramsey set up a nice goal but that kid can not hit water if he fell out of a boat his shooting is awful always sky's them very frustrating
player.
But Stoke still have some of those
players who love trying to ruin our day, they've
got good
physical qualities and they can play a bit.
i am proud of the way our
players played yesterday wenger
got his tactics spot on 11 vs 11 we would have won it even with 10 men we came close in jan wenger needs to buy some big
physical players like William carvalho / kyrchowaik / yarmalenko
players who are aggressive &
get rid of arteta / flamini etc
I
get that Miami
gets players into the best shape, and you could make an argument that for whatever reason Washington's culture does not encourage their
players to be in peak
physical form.
A managers responsibility is: 1) To assemble a team with the right mental,
physical and technical ability 2) To develop the
players individually 3) To select the team best suited to
get the result against the opposing team 4) To implement the right tactics against the opponents in all matches 5) To create team spirit 6) To motivate then
players to work 100 % always 7) By way of the first 5 points to
get the best possible result for the club
However we had a dog fight against Leicester who are not a top team and my fear is Wenger will not improve his game tactically to help the
players match the usual
physical thing we will
get at Stoke or the energy of Anfield.
Difficult to see how good he is here as the opposition is non league and it's a 4g pitch But he's
got the
physical attributes to be one hell of cb or dm
player.
Players that are prone to
getting robbed, produce misplaced passes and often lose in
physical duels should be kept for the next home game (such as Ozil, Wilshere, etc)
Every team
get injuries, we all know this but it would seem that the combination of our style of play coupled with the
physical attributes of our
players (slightly built generally less
physical) AND the fact that clearly our training and physio facilities (try saying that when your drunk) are well behind the times.
We definitely need a few more
players as I don't think we've
got the
physical numbers to
get through the season unscathed given the amount of injuries and bookings that we
get.
We have
got similar tall and
physical player in Xhaka, which I think more talented than Fellaini.
Don't
get me wrong, unlike Makar, they were not small
players and were unstoppable because they won
physical battles to go along with all their other skills.
«The hard numbers that you
get from the test are invaluable when it comes to seeing where a
player is with his
physical ability.
«His
physical output is excellent, he would be one of our top
players in that area as well, which will hopefully bring us a lot more excitement and more ability to
get forward quicker and create.
After watching him attempt to ping a cross through the very real and present
physical torso of another
player — as if he were either unaware that his marker was standing right beside him or unable to stop himself once he had begun to wind his leg back to take a swing — and then effectively tackle himself out of possession as his touch turned into a tangle of feet and ball, it's clear that Rooney continues to struggle to
get the basics right.
The tackle on diaby was bad and arsenal
players are really unlucky at the moment but i say this with no ill will i read roy keans book and he said» When you come to play MU and you wanted to play football we play football but if you came to kick and fight we will kick and fight» and thats the point arsenal are a soft touch every one knows this why when viera and co where present people did not try all this
physical abuse that arsenal
get now your team must be a combination of both skill and
physical presents it is the managers duty to
get this right.
