The only thing I recommend is par bake the crust first, or bake lower and slower as it's really easy to
get a soggy bottom on this pie.
And there's no chance of your tart
getting the soggy bottom blues... gluten - free pie and tart shells have excellent staying power.
Or go in another direction and just use the fruit (adding a bit more), a generous drizzle of the syrup from a jar of preserved ginger, and some extra crushed nuts to keep the pastry from
getting a soggy bottom.

bottom of the chicken tenders from

gets nice and crispy and if you're feeling ambitious, you could butterfly the breast and have it 1) cook even faster and 2) have all the skin

The downside I have found to blind - baking the crust to prevent the «
