giant alien ants and huge alien motherships.

The idea is essentially that an
alien menace is dead set on invading Earth with
giant ants, spiders and other creepy insects, also throwing in
giant robots and flying saucers into the mix for good measure to make things even more B - movie - like.
The best part about that, is in the first dozen - ish missions, you're killing
giants ants and spiders while the «media» or «top scientist» tell you about the
alien invasion that's taking place... somewhere else.
What if this
alien threat was
giant ants and spiders, and all the sober ponderings about the nature of war were replaced with you taping the fire button down while people scream at you in terror through your radio?
