gift at working with
actors; Richard Pryor's dramatic chops surprised viewers of Schrader's «Blue Collar» back in 1978, and Cedric the Entertainer's solid turn here should do likewise.
It's the kind of you dramedy where you find yourself laughing, as Hill and Teller are
gifted comedic
actors, but you shouldn't be laughing
at the crazy and obnoxious behavior they find themselves in.

Beach Rats is beautiful and relentless; Hittman has a rare
gift with young
actors and a camera that refuses to turn away
at vulnerable moments, to revelatory effect.

at Facets Multimedia in late 1987 — started shooting King of Chess in Taipei around that time, from a script that he wrote with Tony Leung, one of his lead
actors.
But
at least this one has the courtesy to offer up a number of
gifted comic
actors with Black, Jenny Slate, Jason Schwartzman, and Vanessa Bayer on hand to dance through the only - in - America wreckage.
He heads an ensemble of crack
actors, each with a
gift for finding pathos in comedy, and the absurd in the tragic, starting with Shirley Knight as Ned's equally compassionate, equally «idiot» mother, and working through Elizabeth Banks as the sister desperately trying to sell out to make good
at the magazine where she toils while missing the cues from the neighbor (Adam Scott) who is willing to literally drop anything to do her household chores; Zooey Deschanel as the pan-sexual sister with truth issues that involve both her girlfriend (Rashida Jones) and the artist (Hugh Dancy) for whom she both poses and poses a problem; and Emily Mortimer, as the earth mother who lost track of what makes her happy and why she wanted to be married to a smug and profoundly disinterested husband (Steve Coogan).
Leaping to prominence with this expertly scripted ghost story, the director seemed to have it all: a talent for pacing and atmosphere, a Rod Serling-esque
gift for a clever twist ending (only one of them
at this point in his career), and an easy way with
actors, especially this film's Haley Joel Osment, a rare horror Oscar nominee.
Adrien Brody is a
gifted, Academy Award - winning
actor, and he does what he can to be convincing as a cold - blooded mercenary, but
at the end of the day, he'll never be as badass and physically imposing as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We feel Doris» pain simply because Field is one of the most
gifted actors working, capable of being flighty and nervy and deeply sad all
at the same moment.
Both images have no dialogue, they're just hypnotic snapshots of two
actors at the peak of their
gifts lost in their own inspired headspace fully inhabiting fantastical people.
Ehrenreich is a
gifted actor and possesses a rakishly appealing persona, but the character's inner darkness is only hinted
at, as the story line of «Solo» progresses, and the betrayals and heartbreaks he endures come into focus.
When you look
at it as a whole you have a fairly decent screenplay with nice dialogue, great sets, a glossy, well - polished look; plenty of
gifted actors (Chris Cooper and Elle Fanning, above, particular stand - outs) doing their thing making the most of the material, and enough going on to hold you attention throughout — but by the time you reach the end, one can't help but feel a little empty.

A late starter and a true all - rounder, he proved to be an
