In our mundane existence, we know God only partially, and the

I see the salvation process as part coming to an awareness
of what you already are, created
in the image

Dr. Dodd has given us a brief summary which is very useful
in stating the essential elements
in that declaration: how that the God
of Israel, who had spoken by the prophets, had acted decisively
in Christ, pouring out the
gift of the
Spirit, and how that this Christ, now exalted, would return
in glory for the establishment
of God's kingdom.

of God, becomes effective only when this experience makes it inwardly real; (Romans 5:5) and the temple is easily dispensable since to every Christian it can be said, «Know ye not that your body is a temple
of the Holy

It was
in this
spirit of mediating tradition with the challenges
of the twentieth century that the forty - two - year - old Dubois, recognized as a
gifted theologian and scholar
of Thomas Aquinas, was tasked by his superiors with strengthening the Catholic presence
in Israel.

Applying this to the doctrine
of the Trinity, Jüngel suggests that the Father, Son, and
Spirit enhance their previously existing relationship to one another through the decision to give
of themselves to their rational creatures: the Father through the
gift of his Son to us, the Son through freely allowing himself to be given as such a
gift, the
Spirit in virtue
of his activity as mediator, not just between the Father and the Son, but now likewise between the Father and his adopted sons and daughters (GGW 446 - 53, 505 - 14).
We are saved by God's
gift in the ministry and death
