I just
made this
soup tonight for dinner along with the scallion meatballs with
ginger - soy glaze and I'm happily full as I write this.

soup is
made even tastier with the addition of some my favorite spices such as
ginger, lemon grass, cinnamon and cloves.
I
made this chutney last Friday and already used it in a
ginger + carrot
soup and in a pasta dish with roasted fennel and capers.

made a couple modifications though... I added some onion and garlic to the sauteed scallions and

soup recipe includes spring onions and
ginger (ingredients 2 and 3) but I
make my kids a modified version, substituting 1/2 cup finely diced bok choy leaves for the
ginger and spring onions.

Not only is it dressed with a vinaigrette

The flavorful,

made in advance, and warmed up when chilly days beg for a restorative
