After working as a childbirth
educator and attending a couple hundred births (as a doula — labor assistant) in birth centers, homes and hospitals, I've come to believe that the overwhelming majority of women intuitively gravitate to which location, type of support and «methodology» is best for themselves and their unborn babies to achieve a safe passage through the
