I read Ghomeshi's statement from the standpoint of a dedicated and
long -
time fan, someone who was inclined to
give the benefit of the doubt.
Although many will suggest that Robson has a personal vendetta of sorts aimed squarely at the Grinch who stole soccer, that doesn't make his words any less truthful... such tactics are nothing new... in the U.S.this business practice has become so common that even the players regularly use the media to manipulate public opinion (LeBron James did likewise to rally public support for himself and away from his teammate, Kyrie Irving, who has asked to be traded)... whether for contract leverage or to rally support for or against certain players, this strategy can be incredibly effective at
times, but when it misses the mark it can be dangerously divisive... for a close - to - the - vest team like Arsenal to use such nefarious means to manufacture a wedge between the
fans and it's best player (again), is absolutely despicable... for the sanctimonious higher - ups who demand that it's players adhere to a certain protocol regarding information deemed «in house» or else to intentionally spread «fake» news or to provide certain outlets with privileged information for such purposes is pretty low indeed... no moral high ground here, just a big club pretending to be a small club so that they can continue to pull the wool over the eyes of a dedicated, albeit somewhat naive,
fan base... so not only does this club no
give a shit about it's
fans, this clearly shows that clubs primary interests aren't even soccer related... for all intent and purposes Kroenke doesn't care if we're a soccer club or a tampon factory as
long as we continue to maximized his investment... stay woke people... great to see more and more people commenting on the state of the franchise... this club needs to be held accountable for it's actions
The players have
given up, the manager has
given up
long time back,
fans have
given up, the board does not
give a damn, average players like Walcott giroud Ramsey are just here to earn their wages.
Walcott world class Ramsey to barca merts positional sense

I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled
fans to relax and
give this club
time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good
long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's
fans would stand for this shit for nearly as
long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many
fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's
fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
Sorry neil, as people pointed out no one will tolerate failure for this
long especially when u consider arsenal were a big club even before Wenger.wenger achieved things, so as a note of thanks
fans gave him
time.but that
time got over some two years back and now he's jus like any other manager....
Finally, and to reiterate an earlier point, the way forward for this club is to stop paying below average bench players so much money and to focus the bulk of the weekly wages on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the club to eat some wages in order to ship some players out, get rid of any deadwood over the age of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money where your mouth is for once... I would much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and
give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers playing
time when injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no
longer be able to sell their half - baked plans to the
fans under the guise of «winning now», which any intelligent
fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona, Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3 clubs weekly wages were on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
As
long as you support your club through the hard
times and good
times then you are a
fan regardless of what you say it is about the heart not the words but the heart. Also not only stats are facts but they might also be quiet misleading. For Afobe i will not comment anymore but i do know for sure that he will reach my expectation and maybe you do not see it that way and you might feel i am not speaking with facts or whatever but life itself has no formula and is not really bound by facts because we make the facts.Afobe can become a world class player and i do not care if any manager in the EPL does not see it that way but i see it that way.For talent is
given to the one who can harness it and once things go right then i expect him to be there. No one can take that away from him.

The manager and the players have done their jobs, as have the
fans who pay the highest prices to follow our beloved club, and it is about
time Silent Stan put his hands in his pocket and
gave Wenger the tools to turn this record breaking FA cup trophy win into a
long awaited Premier League title.
Secondly, Wenger needs to become far more flexible when it comes to his formation selections... remember this is the same individual that hadn't used a 3 - back system for 20 years and only conceded to the experiment when the proverbial shit hit the
fan... you know it killed him to adopt «Conte's» system, which is probably why he resisted so
long; in fact his stubbornness to adjust even earlier might have cost us the 4 hole... much like most sports that have tactical formations, every team should have a «base» offensive and defensive scheme, but they likewise need to have some inherent flexibility depending on the opposing teams tactics and / or when specific substitutions are made... how many
times have you watched a Wenger - run team make a late substitution but not change their shape on the pitch... furthermore, how many
times have you seen our team fail to make the necessary adjustments at halftime due to Wenger's tactical stubbronness, which often led to
giving up goals in the early minutes of the second - half... the best teams in the world know how to make halftime adjustments whereas we always seem to be surprised when the opposing team throws a wrinkle into the mix following halftime... this my friend is soccer 101
I've had enough of this crap, look I honesty do think giroud is a good striker and he is a fairly consistant goal scorer, and every
time he played for arsenal he
gave 100 percent and I think we all appreciated the way he was, a true professional, but to say we as
fans were too critical of him or that he didn't have enough of a chance at arsenal is just absolute bullshit, first of all he has scored more headed goals than any other player in the prem since he arrived in 2012 so we did play to his strengths and he was our main striker for four
long years and every pundit on sky and motd has at one point said Giroud is not enough for arsenal to win the title ect, but, now we have sold him he is apparently the best thing since sliced bread and the best buy of the transfer window blah blah fuc * # * g blah.
This
time, it's a little bit different, and a trip to the heartland of high school football is poised to
give fans a showdown they've
long clamored for.
I sometimes think that the Arsenal
fans are too harsh on our
long serving forward Theo Walcott, and that he should be
given more playing
time by both Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and by Gareth Southgate or whoever happens to be the manager of the England national team at the
time.
As for our transfers or lack of them, nothing changes apart from the two backroom appointments which seem superfluous to our current needs. We the
fans will be the last to know and I have
given up ever seeing Alexis again in an Arsenal shirt. The
longer his agent plays the game the lack of
time there will be for bringing in anyone who can fill his shooting boots.
I believe the board don't
give a *** about the
fans because if they does Arsene wenger should have been sacked
long time ago it's obvious the french man has seen it all and have nothing new to offer the club he has passed his prime and need to resign and go take a rest the players in arsenal are just average imagine the wacott Ramsey chamberlain all is championship materials and not premiership for arsenal to revitalise they need to buy players great players at such except that I'm afraid we wl keep having the same result and be content with 4th position year in year out.

In my eyes, as a
