We were
given Nystatin, and after now our third round it has proven to be ineffective.
The baby's physician will probably
give you Nystatin liquid medication that you will apply to the white patches in the mouth for ten days.

Most doctors recommend an anti-fungal cream, like
Nystatin, clotrimazole, or miconazole, and gentian violet
given orally, but some mothers prefer to use something more natural.
I used to use
nystatin ointment or miconazole cream (15 grams) as part of the mixture, and these work well enough, but I believe the use of powdered miconazole (or even clotrimazole powder)
gives better results.
I reluctantly
gave in and started rounds of Flagyl (antibiotic) and
Nystatin (antifungal), along with Primal Defense Ultra probiotics and a much lower carb / no sugar diet.
