Mice without Narp not given the drug floated for about 110 seconds, whereas Narp-less mice
given ketamine floated for about 90 seconds.

given ketamine, the number of bursting cells was much lower, similar to the number in normal animals, Hu's team found.

ketamine, and reliably distinguished them from those who had been

Using the forced swim test, they found that mice
given 10 milligrams per kilogram of injected
ketamine floated for about 75 seconds compared with 110 seconds for mice not
given the drug.
