Having made just two appearances last season along with a loan spell at Watford, it's highly unlikely that he would have been
given much playing time anyway, but this could now push Chelsea to consider sending him out on loan again as they are left red - faced in having to apologise and deal with repairing the damage done with their Chinese supporters.

only reason y i say this is because of Santification, once we

Ozil — obviously this player has some superior skills but his posturing is hard to swallow when things aren't going well... love his link up

lst season at stamford bridge, was the first
time i saw that 4 -1-4-1 formation being used, and for some weird reason i feel a very strange negative vibe and well all know the outcome.the manager has come back with this formation and its not yielding result, but he still sticks with it.i do nt know
much about formations dear friends, but if you are
playing a slow dm in arteta and a very very slow cb, then you are toast against quality teams with sound tactics.wen
playing wellbeck as a lone striker, i think 4 -2-3-1, will work better, but if we have a big player like oliver (boooos), thn we can try the 4 -1-4-1, thingy cos he can hold the ball for our midfielders to run in.but on the overall, shame on wenger for not

They have a shelf life of 8/10 years at the very top if they are lucky so who can begrudge them the opportunity to make hay whilst the sun is shining... am not saying Sanchez is not money driven but the way the guy
plays i can mortgage my life he actually enjoys the game, enjoys wining first and foremost then money comes 2nd... like the author of the article rightly pointed out, he was in Messi's shadow at Barca and could not express himself fully, now he is at a club where he is the main man and
given a free role and license to express himself and i very
much doubt if he will want to go to a club like Madrid (as been rumoured in the dailies today) to relieve the bad experience he suffered at Barca because let us face facts, he is never going to displace CR7 as the main man, so even if Madrid sells Benzema or Bale to make room for him he will be back to the same position he was at Barca, this
time he will be
playing 2nd fiddle to CR7 so my guess is all the Madrid talks is been fed the press by his agents to drive a hard bargain when contract extension talks resumes.....
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of
play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and
play» mentality where players
play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance
play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted
play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was
playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched
played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long,
gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball
play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he
played with Coq Wenger always seemed to
play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong
times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been
played out of position far too many
times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too
much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense
given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will
give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at
times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
After reports revealed that Rosicky was a bit frustrated with his lack of
playing time last season, the 34 - year old was
much happier discussing the chances of Arsenal starting next season strongly and
giving the likes of Chelsea and Man City a proper fight, reported by Sky Sports.
As arsenal fans we have
given them a torrid
time over the years being top dog in north london and as
much as I really don't like them or the way they
play the game they have done enough this season to win the bragging rights (a big thanks to Wenger and his brigade of underachievers including Kroenke).
The Mexican striker started the season strongly with three goals to his name in no
time but has not been
given too
much playing time.
Finally, and to reiterate an earlier point, the way forward for this club is to stop paying below average bench players so
much money and to focus the bulk of the weekly wages on establishing a dominant starting 11... this will require the club to eat some wages in order to ship some players out, get rid of any deadwood over the age of 21, develop a cutting edge scouting service and put your money where your mouth is for once... I would
much rather have a starting 11 that was world - class and
give some reasonably paid young blue - chippers
playing time when injuries occur than have 2 or 3 world class players surrounded by a plethora of overpaid and underwhelming players... management would no longer be able to sell their half - baked plans to the fans under the guise of «winning now», which any intelligent fan knows is a crap - shoot at best, and instead create a a squad that provides hope for the present and the future... this is exactly the model that has been used by Barcelona, Real & Bayern, so it should be good enough for us... by the way, until Messi & Ronaldo re-signed just recently all 3 clubs weekly wages were on par with ours... think about that for a second or two
arsenal as a big and rich club they didn't spent so
much money to buy best players in the past years like the other big clubs so this
time it is a must that arsenal buys best defender, midfielder and striker and as well keep Sanchez valuing the service that he will be
giving next season mote than # 50 m which will also protect him not to
play against arsenal at least for the coming season, and who knows after wards..
both cazorla and cesc had

I really hope Bellerin becomes more consistent with his quality. That's what will make him world class. He really needs to improve. His main problem is that he's not yet been able to create a balance between all of his abilities.Hopefully with more game
time and less injuries this season he can
play more maturely and improve his decision making. The talent
given to him is so huge that he can be one of the very best RB in Europe if he wants to.He just needs to try as
much as possible to maximise his potential by being patient and working hard.He can be so so good if he works hard.
But I believe to
play against better finisher is not justification for you to lose the game.Kane is not messi, or lewandoski, he rely heavily on service.why don't you prepare a team to cut supply for him, Kane was ineffective at emirates because he lacked service, bellerin awful, xaka, elneny, awful, they
gave much time and space ericksen, son, dembele, Davies to find Kane.he got four or five chances he scored one.if aubameyang got the same chances he would score either..
I think gmv8 is right, there is something sinister going on behind the scenes, the way the team
played today wasn't just usual wenger's fault, yes his
time is up and he needs to retire but i think there is more to the team than we know, players weren't communicating with each other on the pitch, they weren't caring about the game at all, at one of the goals i saw ramsey was talking to another player and not
giving a damn about the game at all, there is some internal crisis between players, some probably hate each other, the defenders and the midfield lost the ball too
much that it seemed they are doing it deliberately, some players seem to want out but not gone yet that makes me think they want out not because of money or the club but because they hate each other, specially Ox and Sanchez!!
wenegr is in the twilight years of his arsenal career now he might or might not see out the full term of his contract, i would image he wont
give up but if he do nt get a big prize this season or next his desire might dwindle even more the board have seen what a shambles man united have gone through and the expense of failure, if they do nt get the next appointment right the board is trying to
give themselves as
much time to identify a replacement and in the correct
time unless wenger leaves at short notice, i think if he had won the c / l all thought years ago we would be looking at a different story i think he would have left at the end if that contract as he would be at the peak of his powers and could of gone anywhere he like across europe, but he didn't win and here we are now, i respect the man for what he has done for us and english football a modern day herbert chapmen he is but even old chappy had his end of and era and wenger will have his end its just how will it
play out hopefully a winner
And will they affect the game and Liverpool
played offensive by the way against coty and except for being tired at end of game dominated very well phil i tjink tje idea is to not
give those talent players at city to
much time on the ball a mourinho style wont work against them everyone i.
You are 100 % right but i think the problem with the fans (me incl) is that Arsenal / Arsene should of signed more players in the summer with the money we had in the bank to
give us the depth to rotate and not have players injured 40 % of the
time leaving us on the edge of exploding
playing at 60 % for 2 months solid in a very
much tighter premier league where even so called smaller teams have more money, bought better players and are not easy to beat these days.
Jenkinson is out on loan, so he can't be blamed, he's always shown a strong Arsenal spirit, has not been
given much game
time, and hasn't done badly when he has
played and is still very young.
Another fault of his is that he
gives developing / improving / recovering players too
much premier league
playing time.
We
gave away too
much posession to spurs in the first place, honestly we
gave them too
much time on the ball, when our midfield should have moved swiftly, closed down and break up any
play of theirs!
Mr Fox, that shows how utterly stupid wenger has been sanchez should have gone in summer right at the beginning of the transfer window, that
gives arsenal enough
time to get someone else in but stupid wenger keeping too
much faith in certain players to the annoyance of other players and on top of that wenger can only
play one style of football and that has allowed other teams to nullify our players and sanchez
gave the ball away almost 30
times against Southampton I believe that alone warrants you being benched under ferguson
My point is DT aterta used to
play as DM and deep lying playmaker at d same
time It was too
much for him and some arsenal fans don't understand what Wenger does Now d work aterta did is now shared bw Coq and Caz Dt shift is what has
given arsenal our consistency.
I honestly don't mind if giroud doesn't
play much he's been essentially
playing every game for the full 90 and he
gives 100 % every
time.
No, I'd love to find the player who was offered chances to use, the player who understood how
much more money and
playing time and fame he was
giving up.
Anyway, its important to
play players who haven't had
much playing time as well as
giving rest to our Starting line - up
Better coverage players will help, but if we didn't
give QB's who should be
playing in the AFL
time enough to draw the blueprints of the new Dome, it would make coverage that
much easier and our DB's will be able to
play the whole game without being winded and eventually gettin burnt or PI calls..
as to the back four, i think we should rather
play Monreal — gibbs has apparently been troubled with some injury lately and been saved as
much as possible — no point in
giving him a «worthless» game during these
times if so.
Che
gave us allot of space that day to
play in, utd
gave che too
much time on the ball too.
Of course there are several other common concerns, like Monreal
playing against any top competition, since he proved last year, especially against Bayern, that he will
give any class player his dominant foot in and around the box
time and
time again, or that we still haven't found anyone, other than the mopey Ozil, that can distribute the ball from deeper lying positions, minus the occasional gem from Xhaka, which means that we still spend way too
much time trying to pass the ball into the net, but I'll save that for another
time
Wilshire 6 — good to have him back, if he only could stay healthy he might be one of the fighters and leaders we need — could not be expected to do
much with the few minutes of
playing time he was
given.
Now to the article I would like to add that while sitting back the teams also
give much space to our full backs and after manu match some guy told bellerin is making his own position of right wing right back he is so true as bellerin overlapping runs have increased and he has created most no of clearcut chances this is the effect of
playing wallcott as a striker also monreal seems to improve his attacking
play now even if we lose balls it
give more
times to our player to track back and snatch the ball as we have bellerin le coq who has also good pace in him.
