glass or plastic works perfectly too!

These jars
work well for soaking but any
glass or plastic will do.
I do not microwave in
plastic because of the risk of toxins getting into the food, actually don't care for microwaves that much so I started putting my hot things in
glass containers, even small mason jars
work for heating up if you'd like to use a microwave,
or I heat them up at home, store them in
glass, and keep it separate from the other foods.
Freeze leftover soup in meal - sized portions (
glass Pyrex
or small
plastic yogurt - size containers
work well).
Pour sweet tea through a fine mesh strainer into your fermenting container (a 1 - gallon
