Tamma is a PhD candidate in Agricultural & Resource Economics at UC Berkeley, an EPA STAR Fellow, and a Doctoral Fellow in the Global Policy Lab at the Goldman School of Public Policy.
She is also Adjunct Professor at the Bard Center for Environmental Policy; Assistant Clinical Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University; chair of the Global Climate Change and Health Topic Committee of the American Public Health Association's Environment Section; and Co-Convening Lead Author for the Human Health chapter of the 2013 National Climate Assessment.
Nevertheless, as the world grows more global and more divided, I predict that public policy will remain a hot topic for the foreseeable future and its heads will undergo profound transmogrification depending on the prevailing sacrosanct principles and policies that define countries at a given moment in time.
