new years eve I opt for an outfit I put together myself with my favorite pieces because if one
goes out and

new dress, I bet you anything, someone, wherever you
go, will have the same
dress and I absolutely abhor that.
Yesterday I
went on a few showroom visits and
bought a cute
new sweater
dress at Joe Fresh plus made a stop at Carnegie Deli for two of my favorite dishes: Corned beef mac «n cheese and matzoh ball soup.
Both
dresses have the Best Seller promotion, if you
buy three you get one free, so all your friends are
going to be extremely happy with their
new dresses!
I'm the kind of person that
goes to the hair
dresser, gets a hair cut and a
new do...
buys the products to achieve that
new style, but never ever ends up looking like that again.
MY goal is not to
buy as many things as possible for the cheapest amount possible, so if my monthly clothing allowance is $ 100 (that's close to what it is), I'm not
going to
go out and spend the $ 100 for 5 - 6 tops &
dresses at Forever21, Zara, H&M, Express, Target, etc., I am more likely to save the $ 100 so I can put it towards a cashmere sweater or
new bag.
Spring is here and we all want to
dress for it, but instead of
going out and
buying a whole
new wardrobe or dripping daisies off your head, an easy way to update your look is to
buy accessories.
It can also be an unrealistic option if a lot of your purchases of clothing are based on workwear and a specific style — shopping for a strict
dress code is most probably
going to be easier when
buying new (although not impossible to do second - hand, of course).
So, I'm not concerned enough to actually
