But there is still a month to
go in transfer window so talk of reus benzema moutino griezman cavalho and 200m should keep us stringing along til then at least
Not exact matches
Arsenal aren't the biggest spenders
so perhaps won't
go higher than # 70m, but
in truth Madrid should perhaps take the money and run for an injury - prone player low on confidence whose time at the club is surely up and whose value may only continue to tumble down
in coming
transfer windows.
So with the
transfer window just around the corner and with the Arsenal shareholder Lord Harris having helpfully told the world that the club is sitting on cash reserves of something like # 200 million
in the bank, Arsene Wenger is concerned that the price of any player he is interested
in will suddenly
go up, as explained
in a Daily Mail report.
Reading the thread on this article and I noticed a lot of people naming strikers we could have gotten
in past
transfer windows that have
gone to other club and failed, Balotelli, Falcao, Martinez, Boney etc are recurring names
in all the comments, and am sat here thinking because they failed
in thee clubs does not necessarily mean they would have failed if we had pulled out our fingers and hot them back then, Balotelli aside I strongly believe all of these players could have made a difference playing infront of our midfield and given the kind of attention and care Wenger gives Giroud and Walcott, adapting our play to suit them and giving them chances after chances even when its blatantly obvious they are average players
so please lets not keep using that as an excuse for Wenger's ultra careful attitude
in the
transfer market, they could have failed with us, or they could have been massive for us, all speculations.
arsenal is not like Leicester, we can win league by chance or miracle, when the last time we won it it was
in style,
so talking about challenging for the league starts when the
transfer window opens, you buy best players, it's
going not only motivate supporters but also the players!
dilly dallying
in every
transfer window and buys no striker
so that when all is
gone, Giroud remains to be our savior once more.
Should have made planning
in December about our weaknesses and short it out but half
transfer window is
gone and no reinforcement is done,
so sad.
An exit
in the summer
transfer window failed to materialise with Atleti banned from signing players until January, and
so another strategy was proposed whereby Costa would
go out on loan for six months before then moving back to Madrid.
It's added that the offer from Deportivo stands at $ 10m and now they're awaiting a response as Arsenal could be keen to hold off and wait for an improved offer with
so long to
go in the
transfer window still.
So there is more bad news today for Arsenal fans hoping that Arsene Wenger is still
going to come up with the goods
in the last few days of the summer
transfer window, according to the Evening Standard, which is reporting that Jose Mourinho is not
going to allow the Manchester United defender Phil Jones to sign for the club managed by his rival manager.
and all we brought
in is Chec
so far... really now — we gonna get alot of AW haters if things do nt
go according to plan come end of the
transfer window and results do nt fall into place.
That puts things
in a different light
so it could be us, but I still think that it will be mega bucks to get him this
transfer window and arsenal will not
go for it.
The club is being run like a pprivate Feifdom and when these things happen theres no contingency plan Im disgusted by the whole
transfer window so far, Higuian
goes as the third most expensive player
in the world and theres a bloody good reason for that, we may not have had much chance of getting him this time but how the Fack did we miss him last time round?
The story
goes that his current club are looking to bring
in one or two big name midfielders
in the summer
transfer window and that Isco is the player that will make room, as long as someone is willing to pay the # 35 million or
so that they want, according to a report
in The Mirror.
There is time enough and we are at early doors
in the
transfer window so let's not
go jumping off any roofs just yet.
Arsenal boss Wenger didn't get the chance to negotiated a deal for Mertens, who has managed to bag 75 goals
in 194 games for Napoli during his career, during the summer due to the fact that the forward's contract renewal came
so early
in the
transfer window report CalcioMercato, however it is believed that the Premier League giants could
go back
in for the 30 - year - old before this season ends.
wenger has made the club profit this
window i would have though as well all incomings have been covered out
goings and other revenues coming
in like c / l monies and squad releases wages being saved i bet we are
in a + balance if we
went through it properly we do nt know what the budget is
so it could be worst there now way wenger has spend # 100 not even # 70 million
transfers ospina = covered by the sales of miquel and monies made from cesc to chelsea
so nothing really spend there debuchy = covered by the vela money chambers = covered by the vermalen sale # 11 million only
goes up to # 16 if he does well
in certain circumstances sanchez = covered by the c / l monies and no doubt what we are owed on previous player sales i.e cesc to barca and song monies still outstanding welbeck = covered by wages being freed up and the rest of outgoing transactions and previous player sales being owed
so there we have most likely recoup most if not all of our
transfer monies back and shafted and lied to puma and the emirates about spending there monies
in sponsorship on tranfers and pocketing
in» profit» aprox # 60 - 70 million of the
transfer funds to boot wenger hang your head
in shame
Wenger must
go for Draxler or fix something for Arsenal
in the
transfer window so that Arsenal can compete efficiently
in the course of the season with one trophy (EFL Cup) lost already.
Some of us are confident of us making a league challenge,
going so far as to say other teams are quaking
in their boots because we signed Cech and our finish to last season, but as the
transfer window stretches on it turns into anxious pleas, «why won't Wegner sign anyone».
The
in - form Saints man would no doubt be exactly what Arsene Wenger's side need
in midfield,
so this move makes sense and could well be the next big deal to
go through for the summer
transfer window.
So the one thing i hope doesn't happen
in this
transfer window is for Arsene to
go ballistic with whatever money he is given, like a kid with a tenner
in a sweet shop.
Let's get it over with and hope that the 1st 3 games will be a small sample of something that will not be consistent over the course of the season... Like Ramsey said let's see
in 10 games or
so and see where they are not only
in the table but also the way they play... disappointed
in the way we manage the
transfer window but this team can do great things let's see how far they
go & how much magic can Wenger work with the belief he has
in the players enough not to buy somebody except Cech...
August can be a cruel month... What now... It is absolutely clear we don't have a team or squad to compete with best teams
in Europe... That can't be repaired
in last 6 days of a
transfer window... IMO it can't be done under current leadership for reasons have been saying for 3 years... But what can be done realistically... To begin with ox and gab have to start... This is
so blatant and
so doable I think it's fair to say that a manager who doesn't do this should not be
in the job come Xmas... Who should
go... Wenger has done a half way decent job here
in clearing out deadwood And Campbell may still
go... Flamini still around is shocking management....
Wenger started off
so strong
in this
transfer window, but when the f*ck is he gonna realize that his job is not complete?
So far this
transfer window we have brought
in 2 players, Lacazette and Kolasinac, both are extremely good players who can help our cause but because of our attacking play we are always
going to concede goals and therefore I believe we still need a top class CB and DM.
But obviously with the strikers that Barca have to choose from he has not had many chances to show his worth
in Cataluña, making just 55 appearances since his arrival and it seems that he is definitely
going to be leaving the club
in the next
transfer window so perhaps he could finally be coming to Arsenal at a bargain price.
I have a PhD
in Fourthology, Wenger isn't mentioning anything because the
transfer window is about to be open, he doesn't like the pressure of buying
so he's
going to remain ambiguous like he did with Welbeck's injury
We are still months away from the winter
transfer window,
so I wont bore you too often with the latest Arsenal
transfer rumours, but just thought I'd give you a snippet of what is
going around, as it is my duty to cover ALL Arsenal stories
in the press!
the other teams are
so stupid spending the whole year scouting and paying the
going rate for world class players and buying them early
in the
transfer window.
The January
transfer window has been and
gone and the games are running out,
so anyone brought
in now won't have any opportunity to put their own stamp on the side.
it hurts to say but we the fans just have to except that all do we are a top flight club with funds but we are never
going to be a top flight team with this management,
so as soon we accept this the less we will get disappointed on the pitch and
in the
transfer window,
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability,
in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even
went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel
so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming
in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top...
in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made
in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned
transfer window didn't have to do with the big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending
so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
I would like this to happen but we've seen
in our recent
transfer windows that we got top quality players from spain
so how about we
go in for top quality players from other country?
Whether it's Gazidis making ridiculous claims about our supposedly successful
transfer window, even
going so far as to suggest that everything
went according to plann, or it's Wenger having the audacity to speak about taking a much more proactive approach to the re-signing of players with less than 2 years left on their current deals; which on it's own is a nothing story, it's football management 101, but let's not forget just a few weeks ago he was proudly championing his «ingenious» plan of having his best players playing
in the last year of their respective contracts.
So going by what the boss said earlier
in the summer then Arsenal fans can expect either one or two more
transfers before the
window closes and one of them looks like being another attacker, with Mahrez and Lemar the favourites
in the football media.
I don't think we've anywhere nearly enough
in the
transfer window so far, and will still have Wenger
in charge,
so I think it's
going to be very tough getting into the top five.
Don't blame the process for the Sanchez situation, blame Wenger & Gazidis for not getting their business done earlier and / or not following through with the promises they have made to their high priced talent and their devoted fans... someone please give me an example of another supposed «top club» allowing their top player to
go unsigned before the final year of their contract unless they were severely injured or the club was planning on selling said player prior to their final year... on a side note, Wenger might complain about the
transfer window closing
so late but just think about how problematic that could be for our team which usually waits until the last second to make deals... on the one hand we might have less «panic» buys, whereas on the other hand those same ridiculous purchases might just have come weeks earlier... Wenger will find excuses for his ineptitude
in the
transfer market regardless of the deadline date
@ the ending of the
transfer window or even when the
window closes alot of u #gooners are
going to b disappointed because that man isn't
going to buy any1 or hes
going to buy some unknown name player for cheap who is
going to get injured
in the 1st month then u
going to hear the #wengerout
so im goin to start ot from now #WENGEROUT!!!!
There are now just six weeks to
go until the Janary
transfer window,
so we can expect thousands of Arsenal
transfer rumours
in the meantime, especially as we all KNOW that the Gunners desperately need reinforcements!
the baord are quiet happy to let him roll along with his attitude and philosiphy all the time the club is making money and not spending too muchyes we brought
in Ozil but that deal was not as expensive as the club would have you believe and Sanchez again but inbetween these buys was a year where we brought
in noone at all and that means that everyone else gets a
transfer window every summer but we get one every other summer.last years 70 Million will be this years 70 million and
so I ask you where is the money allotted for
transfer on A YEARLY BASIS
GOING???? Clearly at present Wenger will stay and that wont change any time soon but what he SHOULD DO!!!! but wont is get rid of....
we will end up with the guy from West Brom I can feel it
in my bones, Wenger above all looks to save the club money and for whatever reason this is ALWAYS his priority like with
transfer windows past he
goes through ALL the flim flam of approaching clubs and players with 40 % less money than what they are asking for ONLY
so it can be claimed later that «We tried to sign the player but it was too complicated and the seller was asking too much» same old Arsenal same old Wenger
«It's
going to be a condensed summer with a World Cup
in the middle and a shortened
transfer window,
so I think for all of us having that clarity sooner is better,» he said.
With seven days to
go in the
transfer window, time is running out for Spurs to make any deals happen this winter, with the club taking a very pragmatic approach
so far, but this could be about to change.
I am always open to a touch of shock and awe
in the
transfer window and
so will not be able to resist sitting by the computer, impatiently refreshing the deadline day news - feeds to see which players have been spotted changing trains at Canning Town or
going into a Pie and Mash
in the Roman Road with the Sullivan family.
The club have been very quiet
in the
transfer window so far, but surely armed with
so much money, they would
go and invest
in a replacement..
The media also did what they do best
in all
transfer windows, saying that arsenal had a bid rejected and wenger could have sealed the deal for» few extra millions» but he backed off... they insert the word arsenal target to each and every
transfer speculations... the sad thing is, most of us, knew all this were
going to happen, but still fell for it... we start every discussion, saying that we know the news is absurd, but if it's true (malayalam phrase is — athava biriyani kodukkunnundenkilo) then what about its implications, and
so on... then shit turns real... we r sure, the player is a target, we r sure the amount arsenal has bid..
I'm assuming they
went for this template kit
so that when Sean Morrison changes team every
transfer window they can just change the colour
in Photoshop.
Throw three teams into the mix, each of whom are already getting desperate
in this young season, with only a week or
so to
go before the
transfer window closes and you've got a shit storm of epic proportions brewing.
Currently got over # 18m MORE
in the bank than we started the
transfer window with and another few million coming when Alberto leaves
so let's not pretend that LFC are contenders because, with an ageing RIGHT - winger playing at Left - back and no specialist DM, we are just
going through the motions.
Manchester United's season may not have
gone exactly to plan
so far, but as we enter December thoughts have now turned to who may be drafted
in when the
transfer window opens next month as Mourinho tries to review the clubs bid to return to Champions League football.
