I think it is ok to
go into ketosis for short periods of time but it is an aggressive approach to weight loss.
Do you think this increase in fat that you're talking about in your book, do you have to
go into ketosis for this to help people?

I am on a ketogenic diet from last 9 days but no change in my weight.I also walk briskly
for an hour on treadmill and cycle apart from some exercises.i take three meals in d day comprising of eggs (2) and cottage cheese in the morning with green tea with coconut milk, Red meat 2pieces or chicken with tomatoes or spinach cooked in olive oil in lunch and egg scramble and 1 piece of meat in evening.please suggest me what should I do to

When you drastically cut carbs, the body
goes into a metabolic state called
ketosis, and it begins to burn its own fat
for fuel.
The idea here is to make your body
go into ketosis quickly and this will only happen with an empty stomach and a low - intensity activity like walking
for a few minutes.
Unless you've already been eating a paleo or primal diet and are somewhat keto - adapted (burning ketones

I have thought perhaps using a mineral - rich salt such as Real Salt (brand name) or Celtic Salt would prevent the electrolyte imbalance as I had no problems w / electrolytes while
going into ketosis, but I do take magnesium nightly in my supplement
for insomnia so I wasn't sure if that skewed my experience.
