gone are the days
of plastic body, funky looks, thick bezels,
removable battery and heavy designs.
The
battery is no longer
removable on the Galaxy S6, so those who appreciated the convenience
of swapping
batteries on the
go should look elsewhere.
This also means that while LG highly touted the LG G5 as being one
of the only smartphones to retain a user
removable battery, LG is also
going to follow in Apple and Samsung's footsteps by removing this feature.

of relying on an external

of use on just 10 %
of the
battery thanks to ultra power saving mode.
If Samsung is able to create a sleeker, better - looking device by sacrificing a
removable battery and the overall capacity
of the
battery, then it is
going to take that chance.
I think that
removable backs and
battery swapping have
gone out
of favor with the invent
of fast charging and smaller power banks
Lenovo will probably
go for a Quad - core processor and a RAM
of 2 GB while the
removable battery will be sizeable at 2,800 mAh.
Like
removable batteries, IR blasters are
going the way
of the Dodo.
With that said, waterproofing and
removable batteries don't tend to
go together these days, so the fact that the G6 does not have a
removable battery was kind
of a given.
