to know how
to read?
I was tempted at first
to give maybe a 10 point list of advice for parents
going through deconstruction in front of their
kids... things like let them see the books you
read and answer their curiosities about them; teach your
kids how
to think, not how
to believe; tell them everything you're
going through and let them deal with what it means for them; ask them what they believe and listen objectively and engage in conversation about it; openly share your struggles with what you're
going through with the church and let them process it themselves, and so on.
I really love checking cookbooks out from the library and
reading them after the
kids go to bed.
I

I would recommend actually doing some real observations of children
going through sleep training before you make judgments (and this whole web page was very, very judgmental and
reads more like anti-CIO activism
to scare would - be parents from sleep training their
kids).

Heck, we may end up watching all the shows tomorrow and we watched Hunger Games with our oldest last night (she

Putting
kids to bed can be a challenge, and it may be an even bigger problem for this generation of parents because the sacred bedtime ritual of

gone away.
