goes next
to the Chrysler
Museum of Art in Norfolk, VA — opening July 12, 2018, and from there
to the Sarasota
Museum of Art in January, 2019.

going to the Peoria Riverfront
Museum and the State Street Gallery of Chicago's Robert Morris University.
When you
go to an art
museum to see an
exhibit or look for your favorite period or artists, do you think about your reactions
to the paintings or what the artists wanted
to express?
The opening of this exhibition at The Photographers» Gallery in London, began an international tour of the show that
went on
to exhibit at the
Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main, and subsequently at Aperture Foundation.
In addition
to some of the well known artists
exhibited, emerging artists such as Trisha Baga, Juliana Huxtable, and Aki Sasamoto, have been identified by Franklin Street Works before they have
gone on
to receive wider recognition at
museums and important fairs such as Frieze.
He
went on
to exhibit at Peggy Guggenheim's renowned Art of this Century gakkert in 1945 and 1946, and at galleries and
museums throughout the U.S. during his career.
The collection was
exhibited at the National Gallery of Art in 1987 and
went on
to tour various other
museums and art galleries.

In six short years, the Nigerian - born Ojih Odutola has
gone from undiscovered art student
to global fame, complete with a solo
exhibit at one of the international art world's most prominent venues, New York's Whitney
Museum of American Art.
Law then
went on
to make a series of black paintings out of different combinations of dark colours that were
exhibited at the
Museum of Modern Art Oxford in 1974.
He has since
gone on
to international acclaim, earning several awards and
