historical Jesus, lmfao... show me any historical evidence of jesus... let's start with his remains... they don't exist - your explanation, he rose
to the
heavens... historical evidence - no remains, no proof of existence (not a disproof either, just not a proof)... then let's start with other historians writing about the life of Jesus around his time or shortly after, as outside neutral observers... that doesn't exist either (not a disproof again, just not a proof)... we can
go on and on... the fact is, there is not a single proving evidence of Jesus's life in an historical context... there is no existence of Jesus in a scientific context either (virgin birth... riiiiiight)... it is just written in a book, and stuck in your head... you have a
right to believe in what you must... just don't base it on history or science... you believe because you do... it is your
right... but try not
to put reason into your faith; that's when you start sounding unreasonable, borderline crazy...

Not sure i am convinced because how do you explain the verse an eye for an eye in the old testament there have always been consequences for wrong doing and stiill are for sin.If we believe the word then that word is from God not satan. As far as satan is concerned he uses violence as his tools of trade he works on our fears and is limited
to robbing stealing and destroying he does nt have anything else.Violence confirms
to us that there is a spiritual battle
going on both on the earthly plane and in the heavenlys and the battle is over souls. The verse the kingdon of
heaven is expanding and violent people take it by force is referring
to that spiritual battle and as satan uses violence
to expand his dominion so does God use violence
to counter him.So what does he mean by that term for me i think it is saying that the the force of evil that satan uses or violence is overcome by a greater violence or force a more powerful one that being the Love of Christ.Through the cross we see that clearly portrayed and in our lives that very same battle is still happening
right now for dominion be clear if we walk in the flkesh satan will have dominion over us but if we walk according
to the spirit and abide in Christ we have freedom from our old nature.and satan. He can oppose us but he wont be able
to influence us if we are in Christ.

Jeremy Myers, i think you are wrong and David is
right, so many out there are preaching you can live any way you want and be
right that Grace covers any sin, they really believe that, that is not what the bible says, God was very concerned about sin so much he sent Jesus his son
to die on a cross for us, if we accept Jesus as our savor then we are
to obey his commandments, not break them, we are
to live a righteous and holy life as possible, the bible plainly list a whole list of things if we live in will not
to to heaven unless we repent, if we die while in these sins, we will not
go to heaven, what is the difference, between someone who said a prayer and someone who did not, and they are living the same way, none, i think, if we are truly saved it should be hard
to do these things let alone live and do them everyday, i would be afraid
to tell people that it does not matte grace covers their sins, i really think it is the slip ups that we are convicted of by the Holy Spirit and we ask for forgivness, how can anyones heart be
right with God and they have sex all the time out of marriage, lie, break every commandment of God, i don't think this is meaning grace covers those sins, until they repent and ask for forgiveness, a lot of people will end up in hell because preachers teach Grace the wrong way,, and those preachers will answer
to God for leading these people the wrong way, not saying you are one of them, but be careful, everything we teach or preach must line up with the word of God, God hates sin,
The devil has blinded the leaders of the churches of today when they serve carved images of the flag of any nation... In Exodus and Deuteronomy God said, not
to serve or bow down
to any carved image in the likeness of
heaven above or in the likeness of the earth below... When you pledge your allegiance
to the flag, you are pledging your allegiance
to the carved images of the flag... The founding fathers made carved images in the likeness of
heaven above and in the likeness of the earth below and set the carved images on a flag and the flag is high and lifted up on a flag pole... Some nations are serving the stars, the moon, and the sun, and others are serving the eagle, the bear, and the tree... The U.S. is serving the stars of
heaven and the eagle of the earth... Canada is serving the leaf of a tree... Mexico is serving the eagle and the serpent... When you put your
right hand
to your heart or
to your forehead, and pledge your allegiance
to the flag, you are committing fornication with the carved images of the flag, God calls this IDOLATRY... The mark of the beast in the
right hand or forehead is spiritual and identical
to when you put your
right hand over your heart or over your forehead... There is no way
to go around God and the carved images of the flag, unless the devil has blinded the minds of the believer, like when he deceived eve and Adam in the garden of Eden.

Ross the bible is quite clear that it is not by works that we are saved but by the finished work of Christ. We are saved the moment we accept Christ. Can you say that you stopped sinning the moment you accepted Christ i certainly did nt it was ingrained in my old nature. When we have the holy spirit he helps us
to be transformed into Christ likeness that process is sanctification. You are
right there is no condemnation
to those that are in Christ Jesus. The bible says that Jesus and the father are in
heaven and the holy spirit is with believers though they are one they are also separate individuals. As far as sin is concerned we can not in our own strength live a christian life it is impossible only though trusting the holy spirit by accepting Jesus can we live a life as overcomers. If we choose
to accept sin in our lives after becoming christians then we can not become overcomers i think people accept Christ for the benefits and then live there lives for themselves i used
to.I do nt know about but how is it
going are you overcoming sin in your life or i know i am able because the holy spirit helps me.I do nt have
to try anymore i just have
to believe that through Christ the holy spirit empowers me
to do that which i cant.I appreciate your comments.regards brentnz
The most important message you'll ever read: For us
to get
to go to heaven (and be made
right with God), we must simply place our faith (belief / trust) in that Jesus Christ died for our sins (wrongs against God), was buried, and came back
to life the third day after His crucifixion, thus making Jesus our Savior (the One Who paid for our sins) and Lord (equal
to God because He was sinless).
