ST — Okay, this is probably the trickiest
of them all... having said that, we still have Giroud (VERY capable striker, IMHO), Walcott (he can be a 20 -
goal player when fit), Welbeck (needs to come
back healthy and fit, and
given a run
of a few games), and Alexis (can play through the middle easily).

Wenger got a Japanese striker and we still have Sanogo, Giroud, Walcott (lost soul and useless as we know), Wellbeck (coming
back one day) and Akpom (who is systematically loaned every season because he clearly does not have the level)... That is the answer «the deluded one» will automatically
give you... And he is right... That is a lot
of strikers even though none or most
of them can not find the path to the
goal

I still have my doubts about the supposed injury problem that has been keeping the Arsenal and France striker Olivier Giroud from playing, but after the big man came
back with a bang to score two
goals with his first two touches
of the ball to help Arsenal beat Sunderland in the Premier League this weekend, I could not
give a monkeys.
«Wenger is
giving the striker the self confidence and belief that should help him to start banging more
goals in himself» i highly doubt that makes one a
goal scorer... otherwise why bring about this question after welbeck has been involved in two
goals??? To me walcot is a better option because
of his finishing, smart runs, game reading, delivering during big games, good final touch and making it easier for the right
back since he keeps defenders in deep in their half therefore, no need for him to be defensive.

I think Ramsey play better coming off the bench, when ever he's in the starting eleven he rarely scores a
goal, he
gives the ball away far to often and sometimes in dangerous positions, he makes straight forward passes or the simple passes, I've never seen him make a defense splitting pass or a through ball, the only positive about him starting a match is his engine, he will definitely cover a lot
of ground but i think we need more
of a creative or Attacking CM in that position because
of the
back three formation.
Bottom line, if he is angered bench the players who were not good enough and play those who deserve some game time based on the Southampton game or on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid player
of the club, your
given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez on the wing or up top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track
back near enough for the Alsonso
goal)- Iwobi has been bright from the wing let him play there - Xhaka has to go
back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul on the hazard's
goal.
While it looked as though that

SUMMARY: arsenal deserves fight from ozil and if he's not willing to

Much is expected
of the 24 - year - old this year
given Liverpool's struggles in front
of goal last season and they have turned to a striker that found the
back of the net 42 times in 89 league games for Villa during his three - year spell with the Midlands outfit.
In all honesty Arsenal played well we had very good position with loads
of chances and 13 corner kicks how come we are so crappy at scoring corners???? We need to start scoring the chances we get from corners we could have easily beat southhampton by 4
goals but forster was good he got the 3 points off us MR wenger should go
back to the drawing board as he has some options one
of witch could the calling
of welington silva or a reshuffle bring iwobi in elneny or new methods in tactics as in picking players and rehearse attacks strategy As for the referee I to felt done by him there was on particular foul on sanches that was not

He can play with his

goal unlike Walcott, will not keep turning into centre - halves and will have 3x more chance

You state we need a striker yet we scored two less than the title winners seven less than city, 2014/2015 we scored three less than Chelsea and 12 less than city you have to go
back to 2013/14 to find a time where we were way behind in terms
of goals scored and that was a massive 33 and 34
goals behind city and Utd with both those teams scoring 100
goals plus, the reason we need a striker is not as you and others push to win the title but to
give strength and depth to an area that is thin on ground.
Wenger want to make the impossible possible in his dream, and he will come
back and say we
give it all against Barcelona but we lack character in front
of goal, now we need a quick response against Everton.
On form as a right winger, I think Walcott offers more
goals and more assists than welbeck and the ox, not to mention that left
backs are just pinned in when he plays as people are scared to death about his pace, he's the one player we have that is constantly playing on the shoulder
of defenders,
give him games and he will score
goals, he's a better finisher than he gets credit for!
What makes him better than Arnautovic? The stats?I'm not saying Arnautovic is better or not but if I was a neutral watching them both the difference in quality is not huge.Do you know what Arnautovic could have done if he was
given the lone CF role i Arsenal?I guess I'm also the only one who thinks Chicharito is better than Giroud yet playing at West Ham.If we had Chicharito instead
of Giroud from 2012 we could have easily won the league in 15/16 season. What makes Giroud so good that if I watch him on my TV I can't see?All I see is a player who turns his
back to
goal for most parts
of the match.
And am sick
of the he needs game time after injury argument... He's been match ready for two months or more and should be willing and able to prove he is a first team contender... instead each time he appears it's the jogging around plus the ocassional darting run on display again along with the demonstrated ability not to be able to dribble with the ball the failure to
give real defensive support to full
back and the persistent fragility in front
of goal... Should be part
of a buy one get one free package with wenger
If Arsene Wenger had not
given the 23 - year old that rare start in the last Premier League game
of the season, not only would Arsenal fans have missed out on the
goal of the season against West Brom, Wilshere may have missed out on the FA cup final and the media would surely have got on his
back again for being injury prone and for not realising his potential.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the
backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our
backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored
goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing -
back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long,
gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player
of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a
back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing -
back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense
given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will
give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Again, he's a striker that
given the freedom he has, prefers to play outside the box doing what Sanchez, Ozil, Ramsey do, trying to finesse the ball out
of the air with his
back to
goal and being creative as opposed to just being a big, hulking, greedy striker commanding the oppositions box and those that provide service to him!
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for
giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light
of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock
back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring
goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few
goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left
back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one
of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature
of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
anything but a win will make 4th place an increasingly distant
goal... to be honest we should be able to beat this lot woy has tightened them up but hardly turned them in to big hitters but i do nt think wenger can motivate the team anymore so its all about whether players show up on the night... wilshere needs to get on the ball more partnered with elneny who is probably the most reliable
of a hapless riumvirate, kosalinac and debuchy
given roles in a
back 4... if sanchez wants to showcase his skills i can see a 2 1 victory... otherwise could be looking at another embarassing loss... pathetic that we have fallen to this level
of speculation
Can't you see, he killed our game today, because he couldn't run, nor take on one or two players,
gave Sanches, and monreal a lot
of work to do, valensia was just free, we need someone who can run and driddble someone who is effective in every position, maybe isco, payet, Reus.Giroud is very good, ilike him, as a
back up striker, but we deserve a player who scores atleast 25 30
goals a season, someone like Auba, Dembele, lewa, Aguero, kane, I think we deserve more than what we're getting,
Similarly, this United side also seems very attacking minded, however with the addition
of an extra defender, will surely be more stable at the
back and
give David De Gea a bit more
of a chance in
goal.
It was a good all round team performance from Arsenal against Crystal Palace yesterday and there were some notable showings from the likes
of Alexis Sanchez, Iwobi, Xhaka, Elneny and both full
backs, but even though his overall contribution was perhaps not the best
of the lot, I just have to
give Olivier Giroud the Man
of the Match for one
of the best
goals you will ever see.
Marvin Sordell and Lukas Jutkiewicz will vie for a place in attack, but the likes
of David Jones and Arfield from midfield may be their best chance
of a
goal, whilst Mike Duff continues to marshal a surprisingly solid
back line that could
give the relegation favourites a genuine chance
of survival.
In turn, as they hope to keep things tight at the
back and avoid
giving the Serie A champions the chance to find away
goals of their own, Tottenham would have been hoping to have Toby Alderweireld

The first
goal Mertisaker
backed of the Barca player instead
of tackling him even to
give free kick that was mistake.Flamini not his fault had to attempt to do something at split second he found himself in through Per not clearin, + he should not have been the sub to come on.
The last time he get injured, he was replaced by Arteta while we were winning 1 - 0, and the el - capitan
back then turn to have the worst game
of his Arsenal career by
giving two
goals away, 1 through awarding penalty and the other one by direct own
goal.
On the first drive
of overtime, the Colts scored a field
goal giving the ball
back to Cam Newton to lead a final drive for the Panthers.
Gabriel Jesus»
goal early on
gave City some glimmer
of hope against the Reds, but Nevin was left fuming with his lazy attitude to tracking
back for most
of the match and was surprised more pundits didn't pick up on it.
Well im not in a wonderland he has his failings as we all do and great teams find a way to win good teams sit where we are 6 -5-4 but thats besides the point and it would be nice if your aunty had bolocks cause then we d be second but ive watched the games were an offensive team most the time although were terrible in the pissing rain but for the most part the game plans have worked weve created chances quality scoring chances one after the other problem is for me the finishing unless we sit
back with 9 man behind the ball or ten when you push forward you will
give up a
goal if you lousy forwards fail to finish the set ups have been there this year but our strikers have failed to kill the games if we create quality chances and grab leads in the first 60 minutes like we have for the most part and in those games those games should
of been killed even if we
give a
goal or two alongside the strategy but we failed to hit multiple should be
goals we tried laca we'll see abou auba although hes a bit lazy so far but we'll see but we've lacked that quality in front
goal a player the chances have been there im looking at the failure
of the strikers and maybe that is his fault but monreal has scored as many
goals recently as our strikers and thats sad our defenders or a midfielder will score and our stikers cant tally one in th first 60 mins
of a game alongside them then were tired for last 40
give them hope there still only down one and we rue our missed chances while they push thats where iv been frustrated with this season not the tactics but the finishing
Ramsey was poorly positioned not just in their
goal but in decision making, bringing a left
back with 15 mins left who does nt
give you and edge and chambers to fill the centre with a CB instead
of DM which caused chaos and pushed us even deeper. Conclusion as SKY pundits again and again «Arsenal need a DM and ST» to win the EPL until then NEVER.
