Like Stevens, I know a lot of good,
godly people who believe that God tells them where to live, who to marry, what jobs to take, what books to write, and which people to serve.
I bring up these historical embarrassments, not to shame the Church or criticize the many
godly people who supported them, but to pose a question: What's next?
We might consider getting the opinions of a few
godly people who are not part of the issue who can stand back and see things from a fresh perspective.

It is easy to think that there is a sort of calling hierarchy, where
people in ministry have a
godlier calling than those of us
who have normal jobs.
Let's stop trying to choose the political leaders
who we believe are the most
godly because, in reality, only God knows
people's hearts.

For me the term «social justice» is a charged and negative term with many
people who are less than
godly associating themselves with the movement.
Allot of Evangelical Christians feel compelled to vote for someone
