Ive been supporting Arsenal for 65 years to say im dissapointed, well words fail me Why did we let the window slip by and not do the business in the begining get in quick and get our players signed and out
as well but NO we buggered about with the DREAMER for 6 weeks dithering with expensive so called talent and what we get another Frenchman, soon we will be able to say we have the whole french international team here The way to
go is to boycott the home games and make it known the
fans run the club not the useless manager or the lackluster board who do nt know who plays for us and are not interested in
football per say just the money Buy Kroenke out and let him
go as well
The lesser
fans of lesser teams will say it was because the Vikings got the game at home (
as if the NFL knew back in 2014 when they gave the game to Minneapolis that the 2017 Vikings were
going to be really good), but really it's because Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman have built the best defense in the National
Football League over the course of the last four seasons since Zimmer's arrival.
Claiming what is

After getting the first yellow he should have been careful and technically should have
gone but looking at it
as a sensible
football fan, at no time did he make a dangerous tackle or put the other player in jeopardy of a serious injury so does the premier league need players been sent off for commitment and honesty?
I would let Ramsey
go for free and buy Forsberg from Leipzig who is more accomplished
as a
footballer and take over from Carzola even his counterpart who is heading to Liverpool next summer (Naby Keita) is way better than Ramsey and Wilshire combine — when you come to wenger's approach in the past it tells it all he never really intended to bring in quality players he was just giving
fans false hopes and played mind games when they happened to end up somewhere else he will come outwith BS like we almost sign him
Going along with the notion that the philosopher's impression of America's great autumn sport was an accurate one, a task force of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED writers, reporters and photographers, under the combined generalship of Associate Editor Alfred Wright and Special Contributor Herman Hickman, have assembled for next week's issue a volume which should be
as important for the ardent 1956
football fan as the works of Clausewitz are for the student of warfare.
it's a gud idea letting us involved and I tink dis

I don't want to
go into politics
as this is a

football stadiums, especially in England, where hundreds of
fan's lost their lifes and there was no postponement to the league back then.
No words of wisdom from the wenger faithful then... to be honest am not even feeling vindicated after 5 years of saying enough of this deluded nostalgist just shocked at the mid table
football the 8m quid man now serves up... his exit will need to be followed by at least half a dozen of his hapless progeny... and boards short termist disrespect to

You

There is something odd
going on behind the scenes at Arsenal
Football Club and we
fans will probably only find out the final outcome when the announcement is finally made about Arsene Wenger and whether or not the Frenchman will be signing a new contract and carrying on
as manager of the Gunners.
And there is still a long way to
go for us this season and plenty of time for Arsenal to mess it up again, but from what the team have shown so far, the
football media
as well
as the
fans are starting to believe that Arsene Wenger finally has all the tools in place for a title win.
Let Arsene
go and all hell breaks will loose — suddenly the perfect scapegoat is
gone and unhappy
fans won't see a new manager
as a common denominator
as they see Arsene now but the man who sits on piles of cash disinterested in results on the pitch which is the only thing most of
football fans care about.
Arsenal
Football club is a big part of many
fans lives
going back for generations but we are now stiuck with an owner that wants to bleed us dry and a manager who has a job for life
as long
as he is making his overlord money.
Let's get real here.It is very unlikely that ANY professional player will ever say anything derogatory about a teammate that has just left the club.If Jack had said about Coq - «Grew up playing with him in the Youth Team and have fond memories of a player they though he had very limited ability he always gave his all.Very surprised and disappointed the club never invested in a World Class defensive midfielder that we have quite obviously been lacking for a number of seasons and would no doubt have improved the defensive weakness we have shown over a number of seasons» we would have echoed his thoughts entirely. If he had said about Theo - «A player who should have been so much better than he ended up being. He had everything needed to be a prolific player for our club but I can understand the
fans frustrations with his continued lack - lustre performances and total lack of a
football brain.I think this is best explained by the managers preference to play a player of such limited ability
as Alex Iwobi in front of Theo pretty much says it all» we again would have all nodded our agreement.Although Jack never mentioned Alexis Sanchez I would imagine something along the lines of «If the Manager had not persisted with players with such limited ability such
as Francis and Theo and instead bought the world class players needed into the club then Sanchez would still most likely be here. The
fans must wonder what the hell
goes on at the club
as they pay fortunes for the privalage of following our club but it seems the millions generated ends up purchasing a new Texas Ranch for the Owner or in a yearly renumeration of # 9million pounds to our manager».

the obvious fact is that the club began to stagnate in
football terms a decade ago after the CL semi against man utd and has been in outright retreat over the last 3 years... some
fans were calling for wenger to leave in 2011 - 12
as it was clear he could not cope with a more competitive environment others have been more tolerant, hanging on to fa cup glory and hoping that he would somehow self correct his weak and erratic management style but most now realise that is not possible and that the club will deteriorate further under his management so also want him
gone, that has left a hard core of wenger loyalists who are either fixated with the past (selecting episodic good and bad times to justify wengers decade long failure) or too frightened of the future to contemplate a change (with selective reference to failed managerial changes by way of justification) or both, to conclude, through a mixture of panglossian fatalism and corporate philosophising, how lucky we are to have such an honourable and educated man in charge... along with their confused references to club loyalty and addiction to computer games these are troubled souls who need our sympathy and concerned medical advice... SO JUST F OFF STOCK UP ON CANNED SOUP AND
GO SUPPORT ASTON VILLA ON FIFA!
However, hearing Crooks question his tactical sense and decision - making didn't
go down too well with Man Utd
fans, or just
football fans in general,
as the pundit usually gets an earful every week when he offers him his latest serving of the team of the week and this was no different judging from the Twitter comments.
to me we are just watching the inevitable consequences of a bursting
football bubble which is what AFC (Arsenal Financial Corporation) has become under the Franco American alliance... to be honest its lasted longer than I expected
as the signs of a Ponzi club were visible 5 years ago but somehow the 4th place zombie
fans kept the thing
going longer than I expected but the bust is, consequently, even more worrisome for the long term health of the club... obviously Wenger should have
gone 5 years back but that was not in the interest of the vulture owner... next steps are uncertain but I hope
fans show their disgust by not showing up to the emirates next game
We were all having a laugh at mourinho's defence of a team that
went down three nil and outplayed yet
fans take these totally stupid comments by wenger seriously... The man lost the
football plot 5 years ago if not before and has convinced himself the board and enough
fans that 4th place is sufficient for arsenal fc... It's actually sad
as a couple of quality signings would give us a shouting chance at least... Instead he talks up a bunch of massively overpaid players who would not look out of place in Everton spurs or villa but are not close to european elite
Chelsea is infront of us, the top 3 is already out of reach and watford buzz won't last and Chelsea will finish 4th... We will finish 6 behind Liverpool... The big 4 doesn't count us anymore... Spurs are solid
as Chelsea who will actually fight for 3rd place with Spurs... I hope that you are pleased and sure you won't be mad if we finish 12th... Chelsea did a century ago with mourhino help and
went right back on top of table... Oh, maybe we will do great next year, or the one after
as long has it makes you happy... You should
go and i'm sure you will get hired
as Per... Please don't ever send comment, we real
fans are in pain... Maybe you one of owners hiding or in another planet than
football, just like them... Don't ever post comment, i felt to get a gun and shoot myself!
Whether you are a seasoned
fan that
goes to every match, someone that likes to watch at home with buddies and a beer, or even someone that likes to take a punt on a popular
football betting site such
as betpal.com, everyone enjoys their favourite team in different ways.
Players will come and
go, mostly for their own personal needs (financial or
football success wise) so why should I, accept the actions of an unambiguous and non caring business franchise that cares little for real
fans as long
as someone is buying sweatshop sh # t in the armoury.
So if the talented Brazilian does well for Chelsea and Arsenal struggle for goals then a lot of
fans are
going to be wondering why Wenger passed up this transfer chance, especially
as the former Gunner Edu is director of
football at Corinthians.
players like Ozil always present the
fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely in the mix,
as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things
go according to planned the
fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things
go awry they become easy targets for
fans and pundits alike... in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures,
as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man goals need to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship
football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
(3) this team is rotting from the inside out and it's
going to take some unprecedented moves on the part of this board and the
fans to facilitate the necessary changes... this club must rid itself of it's absentee billionaire landlord before we become just another sporting wasteland in this man's collection of flailing clubs... when this is done it will expose just what exactly has been
going on behind the scenes and I'm afraid of what will be uncovered because if Wenger's business model is
as antiquated
as his
football philosophy it could look an awful lot like and old Monty Python sketch in the backroom... we need to replace the owner with someone who actually cares about this club and isn't afraid to wear their emotions on his or her sleeves or spend their own money to achieve greatness... this new owner needs to find someone who represents the same sort of cutting edge that Wenger represented in his early years then pair that individual with someone who knows how to conduct transfers in the modern era... then and only then will we find a way to escape the malaise that has permeated our once storied club for way too many years
This was in 1992, so my focus
as a
football - watching
fan naturally
went from linebackers, the position I had played in high school, up to the league's premier defensive ends.
Arsenal
fans are aware that the manager is
going to put the domestic league games first anyway so we would not mind seeing a weakened Arsenal in the Europa League, but if there really is a risk of Alexis being handed a two game suspension by the English
football authorities,
as a report by The Mirror has claimed, then I think Wenger would want to use his star striker in the midweek match instead.
Arsene Wenger should off sorted out Alexis Sanchez last season and not now, it dragging on and could cause bad feeling in the changing rooms, either sell him or keep him, most gunners
fans know he
go as he wants champions league
football and not Europa league
football, and he.been seen in Paris recently, i don't believe he really is injured, Arsene Wenger should cut his losses and bring in Lemar ot Mahrez
If we are
going to succeed
as a
football club, we need to get it right on a lot of fronts and that includes having rational
fans that will support our team especially when we are not doing well.
Tired of the unappreciative arsenal
fans being negative about wenger here we have a club legend one that your luckily alive to witness in your lifetime and man who actually loves the club with heart on sleeve remember the growth the consistency the beauty in our
football style and being awed at by clubs around the about the joy of watching an arsenal wenger side play yea soon enough he will be
gone hes 68 and uh oh there
gos the guy who constantly over the years beat spurs made champions league the invincibles put your belief in the team and him relish what we have and in his tenure we get to be one of the few who get to worry oh maybe we wont finish this year but wait will be top five and probably win a cup or make to or near the final for 21 22 years straight phew wow that could be of been worse had me there for a moment thats all i had to worry about
as a
fan glad im witnessing a club legend real cub passion not a paid fake smile who will
go to another club maybe a rival jose mourinho so stop being a silly nanny negative easy to be worse and it will be after he leaves will
go up and down for a bit
i just do nt understand whats
going on with mr Wenger pretty much a personal opinion which he is trying to convince everybody — is time is up in modern
football too much royalty to some of his players who are not good enough and Arsenal
fans pay huge price for that - when do does nt want to spend money he wait until last minute and use that
as an example for not buying players to improve squad — the exceptional players it talking about he sounds to mean Messi in my definition!!
While the
football media and many Arsenal
fans are calling for the manager to sign another player to
go in there, with the likes of Schneiderlin, Khedira, Carvalho, Bender and many more having been touted recently, Wenger reckons that he already has a hard choice,
as he explained in a report on Arsenal.com this week.
What a ridiculous thing to say by the club owner, that only
goes to show the Arsenal
fans mean nothing to him,
as does
football and
as does arsenal.
And regarding our strikers they r regularly scoring so y do we distrupt the chemistry of the team n call for wengers head after it does nt click, so we
as fans should nt
go overboard of managing the manager, let him handle the situation, and if he says theo is a striker let it be that way coz he is the one who sees the players day in n day out, and enjoy the best
football game in the whole world, when arsenal play it the arsenal way, even barca seems like cambridge united in front of our beautiful game
Many
fans with no
football history joined Arsenal because of Wenger but the time is nearing closer for you
fans to either truly support the club or leave when wenger
goes simple
as that.
I wonder how arsene prepares our team for them to produce such lacklustre performances. Its very perplexing for us to lose or draw against poor teams like chelski and looserpool.I was always a wenger out due to I being a frustrated fan. When our players are on the pitch they show no desire and no hunger at all. They produce such mediocre performances in front of
fans whove paid so much to watch these games. It makes you womder why on earth they have such heavy salaries only to put on a flabbougasting show in front of 55000
fans. Its very ironical that we here on this site shower praise on such performances.players like ozil recieve such unwarranted praise you might think they are from another planet. Then we have an extremely overrated english core of gibbs ox and walcott Sorry to say this but players like draxler and rodrigiez are twice these players. This is food for thought for you who support the team blindly due to wengers compulsion that makes you believe that we are playing the worlds finest brand of
football and have a large array of talent that excused him for not
going into the transfer market
as at the moment we are currently losing the clubs most coveted round of 16 trophy and putting such dissapointing performances in the league.
Kenny you are correct of course.Someonevthat is obviously in total love of Arsenal
Football Club But also ridiculously blinkered when it comes to Wenger. You and I together with many thousands upon thousands of, shall we say, more mature
fans, (in other words old codgers) will of course recall much much darker periods in this clubs history than what we are
going through now.But today is the present and not yesterday.Wenger is yesterday's man (
as agreed by 81 % of this sites members).
I am just a big a basketball
fan as football (actually if I had to pick one it would be basketball), so I am
going to
go unconventional here.
Mourhino won the CL with both Porto and Inter but am sure even his most adoring
fan will never qualify both teams
as GREAT or memorable... PG's Cl winning squad will
go down in the annals of the game
as a yardstick for what and how
football should be played.....
A
footballers career is short so if a player can
go away and earn double wages elsewhere (and also win more trophies) then who are we,
as fans, to say anything about it.
This is someone called «manager» and who is paid gracefully to answer difficult
football questions, but does not seem to raise to the challenge and even
goes as far
as blaming the
fans for some team performances...
I think its time to do something about this, over the 2 legs, ireland were clearly the better side, that notwithstanding this particular french team is the worst i've seen in decades, and they have no bussines
going to the world cup.It is time for replays to be reviewed in some cases and goaline technology to be applied in other cases, i think we human being have come of age to realise that we humans are not perfect, no matter how hard we try, so for sepp blatter to keep resisting replays and goal line technology is quite baffling to me, i can't really understand why 3 socalled officials could make a decision, a decision in which the whole world saw to be a foul, and its allowed to stand, and a nation is left, heartbroken, cheated and bitter, i am an african, but
as a
fan of
football, i felt terrible seeing this, and i beg the question, if someone other than the team is not benefiting from this, why can't the officials be allowed to take a look at the replays in order to officiate the game better?
It's never
going to change though
as we'll just continue seeing Michigan
football fans continue clinging to their glorious past, while also under - appreciating the solid consistency of Michigan basketball.
Its nice to see some people have open there eyes but all is true lets ask our selves have this team change from last season where are the experienced players that wenger talked about he selling us bull and every season he gets away with it the
fans deserve better am from the caribbean so chance r i might never get to see arsenal live at the emirates because its too expensive at least the club should be winning things i know its important to balance the books you must BUT
football is about trophies
as well and thats were the balance lies how the hell can we
go Six (6) seasons yes 6 without a trophy not even a FA cup or carling cup and no one says a word about the manager that is rubbish Arsenal live in the past too much the time is now this season for me is the absolute last for wenger to win something i do nt care how much money he has made the club and Wenger if you cant bring that then
go work for an oil company and make them money and leave arsenal to a manager who is willing to win something not only buy players for 10 million who take 10 years to develop am frustrated with this man.
