One evening last week, my daughter
came home from
daycare, had her milk and
went to put on a skirt that my mom made her.
I was scheduled
to go back
to work at ten months, and I have
to admit that no first - time mother has ever anticipated work and
daycare with as much delight as I did... Nothing in the year since has even
come close
to the nine - monther.
If you
go to a home
daycare they get a lot of foot traffic
coming in and out of their home.
She also
goes to daycare 3 - 4 days a week so she doesn't spend every second with S. S wants us
to come to her city instead, but frankly neither of us wants
to make that compromise again (we've been through this before).
I am a work from home mother and spend every day with my little boy, he does not
go to daycare and his primary care and love
come from me 95 % of the time as my husband works a lot.
We have some big changes
coming up this week with Beck
going back
to daycare on Tuesday.
She
goes to the doggy
daycare and dog park and is a little shy and can be fearful at first but quickly
comes out of her shell.
Since then Dakota has been
going to doggie
daycare once a week and she is much better socialized and ok with other dogs
coming up
to her and sniffing her.
She
goes to daycare Monday thru Friday and does well there, but sometimes I think she feels the need
to defend herself or assert that I'm her owner when I
come to pick her up.
Alice
goes almost everyday for
daycare, and we know more than anyone that she is a lot
to handle... But you guys take such good care of her, and are soooo very patient with her, that we are forever grateful (especially when she
comes home and can barely keep her eyes open)!
If I could get up at 5 a.m., make breakfast for everyone, then get dressed (with heels, natch), drop my kids off at
daycare,
go to work for 10 hours, pick the kids up,
come home, cook dinner, clean up, put the kids
to bed, work in bed «til midnight so I don't get behind at work, then do it all again tomorrow on 5 hours sleep.»
