While you might be tempted to skip
going to therapy because you think you can handle your emotions yourself, having a qualified mental health professional to help you through what will likely be one of the most difficult emotional periods of your life is always a good idea.
It's really good to have those when you're
going to therapy because it's going to guide you along the way.
It's not unusual for men experiencing ED to want to avoid talking about it or avoid
going to therapy because society has created such deep shame around it.
In my humble opinion I think that a lot of men would be into that and would be willing to try it if it wasn't like they were doing something wrong and that you were trying to get him to
go to therapy because of something that he is doing that you feel the need to change.

to all these endogenous artificial testosterone, you know, your testosterone

to use what's called post cycle

As a couples therapist I am often confronted with couples whose relationships are on the brink of divorce / separation and some of them decide
to come
to therapy because they realize that the costs of splitting up (i.e. legal fees, disruption
to their children's lives, and likelihood that it will be more expensive
to live separately) are greater than the costs (both financial and emotional) of

to be self - serving, but
going to a couples therapist, hopefully a couples therapist who understands how
to treat trauma in a couples
therapy because I believe that how trauma affects the relationship is an incredibly important factor that has
to be addressed when a person has been traumatized and they're in a relationship,
because it affects the partner of the person who's been traumatized in different ways, but extensively.
