good!)
But the
good news is that you can make your own
chai spice using some simple
spices you have in your pantry.
I can already vouch for the ancho lentil tacos, tempeh orzilla, Jerk Sloppy Joes, lemon - garlic fava beans and mushrooms, chana masala (not my favourite but Rob liked it
well enough), cucumber avocado tea sandwiches,
chai spiced snickerdoodles, and now her delicious Moroccan harira with eggplant and chickpeas.
They were
well spiced with all the
chai flavors and perfectly sweet and mellow from the dates.
Once the eggs are all incorporated add the flour, walnuts and
chai spice mixture, a third at a time and mix gently until all
well incorporated.

chai (tea bags) for the tea, and thought it added a nice flavor and went
well with the
spices in the cake.

Once I've made these two things, I then take out a big pot and put into it about 2 - 3 cups of tea, 1 - 2 cups of this cream and a litre or so of half - almond milk, half coconut milk, along with some sugar - free chocolate, cocoa (or cocoa and cacao butter), sweetener,
spices (like
chai spice), flavorings like vanilla or caramel, salt (I always add a little salt to most sweets, it balances the flavor)... basically anything you think will be
good in a [quote] mocha [/ quote] type drink (I even put small amounts of maca and other medicinal mushroom powders to up the nutritional value - but just a little, to avoid bitterness).
They're full of
spices that will remind you of
chai, and are a bit healthier than regular brownies — using healthier sugar and fats, as
well as whole grain flours like teff, and fiber - rich black beans.
These are
best enjoyed with a steaming cup of coconut cream
chai tea, and if you're really feeling the pumpkin
spice season, try it with a Paleo pumpkin
spiced chai tea latte.
