Now, you might be thinking that
chai tea and pumpkin seeds sounds like a recipe
better suited for the fall.
I've always liked
chai, the spicy Indian
tea when it's
well made — not that easy to find outside of your own kitchen — but haven't, up until now, found the right moment to drink it.
If you're not up for making your own
chai tea base, I have found these brands to be a
good substitute.
Single Serve k Cup Single Serve Coffee in three flavors —
chai tea, pareve cappuccino and hot chocolate — introduced by Corim Industries of Brick, New Jersey, was selected by judges today as
Best in Show in Kosherfest's 2013 New Product Competition.
I also used
chai (
tea bags) for the
tea, and thought it added a nice flavor and went
well with the spices in the cake.
The
chai rooibos
tea is absolutely delicious and
better than the bagged version.
The only thing
better than a cup of
chai tea is a plate of
chai - spiced pancakes.
There are many variations of
chai tea recipes and with a little experimenting, you can find the one that you like
best.
Once I've made these two things, I then take out a big pot and put into it about 2 - 3 cups of
tea, 1 - 2 cups of this cream and a litre or so of half - almond milk, half coconut milk, along with some sugar - free chocolate, cocoa (or cocoa and cacao butter), sweetener, spices (like
chai spice), flavorings like vanilla or caramel, salt (I always add a little salt to most sweets, it balances the flavor)... basically anything you think will be
good in a [quote] mocha [/ quote] type drink (I even put small amounts of maca and other medicinal mushroom powders to up the nutritional value - but just a little, to avoid bitterness).

chai, chocolate, mint or rooiboost.
Well there goes my antioxidant

best enjoyed with a steaming cup of coconut cream
chai tea, and if you're really feeling the pumpkin spice season, try it with a Paleo pumpkin spiced
chai tea latte.
Well, after a few months and a few thousand
chai teas under my ever burgeoning belt, I learned that a tall, which is in fact rather small, had a whopping 41 grams of sugar in it.
That pumpkin caramel is calling my name, as
well as that pumpkin
