As for Giroud I hope what I'm hearing is not true. You get the feeling that once Lacazette starts scoring he just won't like it.He's also another overrated
player who's also hear because of Wenger's kindness.Apart from the fact that he's
good with his head I don't see the positives of keeping here and even Welbeck. We need
players who can push Lacazette
to perform and these are just not the
players.They are more of rotation
players.Do you think if Welbeck and Giroud were at top form they can
challenge Laca at his best?I always laugh at our strikers though. On one hand, one doesn't fit our style of play but at least he can finish. On the other hand, the one who fits our style of play can't even score a goal.I can't believe we are joking with such a crucial role.I'm sick and tired of seeing average strikers in the club. It's been painful watching the likes of Bendtner and Chamakh already. Now I have
to cope with this.

now wengers absurd transfer policy «is down

to sound even more of a parody than the master himself... walcott is a very very average
player with one
good season in 12 years at the club... the fact that wenger hasnt sold him is part of the sorry state of our club and the idea that this can be blamed on fans who want

I disagree.A wingback can be viewed as a defensive winger.Whether the Ox likes it or not he's been blessed with the qualities of a winger.
To me that's his
best position.He's only doing
well as a wingback because of his attacking abilities. As I said earlier a wingback can be viewed as a sort of defensive winger. That's why CB's who are used as RB or LB can not play wingback.Wingback needs the
player to be able
to adapt himself like a winger while also being solid defensively.Ox has the attacking part but not the defensive part. With Bellerin we have the
best of both worlds. He can attack, defend and also has the speed necessary
to play wingback.I fear Ox being played at wingback will cost us when we play teams with tricky wingers. He should rather be

Sorry Mick I've watched Reid, he's average at
best, he's no Cahill and he's not
good enough
to help us
challenge for the Pl and remember Chelsea bought Cahill, the are not interested in Reid so that where your point falls, he's typical wenger someone who he can sit behind Mert as 3 rd choice Is this what Arsenal have become a team happy with average
players, wenger is very
good at starving the fans so much the will settle for anyone
Kante seems like a
player that likes
to keep his head down and just get the job done and although it is going
to be a battle
to get him away from Leicester City in the first place as
well as
to fend off the
challenges from other clubs, if Arsenal is looking for a defensive midfielder this summer
to replace the outgoings, then Kante should definitely be a top priority.

Then for some reason, it all changed... the

to fall so far from grace that our very

to greatness in the first place.
But I do think that when the Welshman is setting up and scoring goals you can tell that he is on his game and with Santi Cazorla on the long term injury list Arsenal need
to have Ramsey at his
best if we are
to challenge for the Premier League title or

player himself is
well aware that he needs
to contribute more.

Whilst it makes sense in theory that after such a long and distinguished era at the Merseyside club they may
well offer the 30 year old the chance of a new
challenge, I can't for the life of me imagine that even two men as seemingly clueless as Tom Hicks and George Gillett, would allow a
player of such ability and importance
to just walk.
I join you on that almostawinner... but the same can be said of that famous english core that we extended / signed a couple of years back... Ramsey is a great
player, can be world class but for that has
to stop being so wasteful at times (bad / heavy first touch, killing counter attacks with the wrong choices, not shooting
well anymore the way it looks, giving the ball away)... your not on Gerrard level at his
best Gibbs is a
good player but seems happy with his bit part role, doesn't look like he's crazy about pushing &
challenging Montreal for a XI spot Ox, I still believe in his talent but just no end product for an offensive
player with his ability; he could be our version of PFA Hazard / Costa... is it a lack of confidence?
If Arsenal had not managed
to break our scoring drought and bag all three points away
to Bournemouth today, it could

to the shoulders of the Leicester

how are we going
to challenge for the title when we are signing
players that are not
good enough or inexperience?????
giroud, lecoq, are gud backups
to hve in the squad but not a first team
player for a team wanting
to challenge for epl.coq has got
to improve slightly on the ball but off the ball he is gud.everyone knows about giroud and I don't think a gud striker is enough for us.we need a very clinical guy not a guy who will be going through dry patches coz thats guaranteed from a gud striker.gibbs is tricky he is a gud option
to hve on the bench but if we scout someone younger and
better than him then I think we can sell him for both the clubs sake and himself coz he hasn't progressed as a
player.what I find shocking is bellerin back up is jenkinson worth a team
challenging for epl?I don't think so and we should find an able guy there than fool ourselves and next season we pay for mistakes again.

Aaron Ramsey clearly has a very
good relationship with Arsene Wenger, as the Arsenal boss has played a huge part in the Welshman's development and especially helped him on the long road
to recovery after that potentially career ending
challenge from the Stoke City
player Ryan Shawcross.
Now Arsene has sold Gabriel who for all mhis mistakes is
better than Monreal, Kola, Chambers and Holding at CB.But as usual it always comes back
to bite us doesn't it.I don't want Monreal or Kola at CB.Leave them at their original position
to challenge for it.Also I feel we don't need 3 back against some teams. We neef
to vary our formation with the
players available.
Fans fail
to see that we are blessed
to have a DM like coquelin, I mean look at how solid our team has become when he plays. His defensive qualities are what please me the most.Coquelin reads the game really
well and knows exactly where an opponent is going
to drop the next pass that is why you see him making so many interceptions because he reads the game
well and he is not afraid
to challenge for the ball.He is also very desciplined withe ball and passes the ball quick enough
to start a counter attack. So for me, I couldn't ask for another DM than Coquelin please let's learn
to appreciate what we have.Schneiderlin, Wanyama, Kondogbia etc are highly rated because they play for other clubs if they were playing for Arsenal we would have branded them «average
players», we would be crying for Wenger
to sign «world class DMs».
He is known for lunging in
to players but if you actually look at his
challenges he is a very
good tackler
OT: It looks like many of you on here believe that ST position is
well equipped if walcott decide to stay and play as ST... Well let me put it like this WALCOTT is not a striker (maybe striker under study) what he has is pace and finishing that's all... we need a well established ST and not only a hot prospect... I can't see us break the like of Chelsea, RM, Barca, and Bayern with Giroud / Walcott unless we get a proper striker, all round one with good finishing and positioning with fair pace and dribbling skills... EPL title and CL challenge need that... Get real and don't overrate our pla

He then moves on
to claim that Arsenal will struggle
to win another league title, due
to their unwillingness
to challenge for the
best players available, and unless this changes, fans need
to stop expecting so much from the side.
