I then got cracking on giving the entire room, ceiling, trim, doors, etc
all good coat of primer.
Make sure you sand down any areas that need sanded, and apply
a good coat of primer.

primer for the second
coat of glitter to stick, and when it's done, it looks gorgeous.
Well, the crew prepped and sprayed one

After a
good cleaning with warm vinegar water, I sprayed a
coat of Kilz
primer, which I had tinted as dark as they could make it.
I lightly sand in between both
coats of primer, as
well as both
coats of paint, using added pressure to the edges for a distressed look.
To get
good coverage it involved one
coat of Kilz
primer, followed by three
coats of Benjamin Moore «Simply White».
One
coat of primer covered everything
well enough to move forward with the paint, so Tuesday night and then yesterday followed the
primer with the first and second
coats of paint!
Then it got a
good sanding, a
coat of primer, black paint and finally a stencil.
Applying a
coat of primer at this point allows you to
better visualize any uneven spots or pits where additional filler might be needed.
