coconut flour • Pinch salt • 1/4 Tsp baking soda • 1/2 cup soy free
chocolate chunks (or a
good bar chopped up) • 1/2 cup nuts (walnuts / pecans would be
best, I only had cashews) • 1/2 cup fresh cherries (pit
and cut in half)

best thing that ever happened to me.

and the
chocolate chips
and mix
well with the liquid ingredients.

I have always just used the recipe off the back of the box of German
chocolate, which is what my mother always used,
and it is
good, but I can't say it's «great» (it's hard for me to call this cake great anyway, since I do not like
coconut and am mildly allergic to pecans.)
It freezes really
well, lasts wrapped really
well,
and can be fancied up with chopped nuts,
chocolate chips,
coconut, seeds, anything you like really!
You can add
coconut, peanut butter, or more
chocolate chips
and make your own flavor combos as
well.
The protein
and good fats in the oats, almonds,
and almond butter, the all - around goodness of
coconut oil,
and the antioxidants in dark
chocolate are an excellent combination.
It would not be fair of me to say which cake or cookie I enjoyed
best but I always had a thing or two for
chocolate and coconut together.
This is the brainchild of my son, who was enjoying my
coconut banana cream pie as his birthday pie,
and he said Mom, this would be really
good if it were
chocolate.
I mean can you ask for a
better combination...

better than other
chocolate cake recipes I've tried that use dates
and coconut flour.
These dark
chocolate mint
coconut truffles for now are one of my favorite
coconut desserts... so easy to make
and so
good.
Well, one day the cafeteria ran out of sandwiches
and all they had were tarts: lemon,
chocolate and coconut.
There is nothing
better in this world than a plate of warm pancakes, layered with
chocolate and topped with
coconut whipped cream.
I've made those 3 - ingredient ones a bunch, but they are
better with a smaller volume of brown sugar (or sucanat, or
coconut sugar)
and with the addition of
chocolate chips.
Add in the melted
chocolate and oil, along with the
coconut sugar, vanilla extract, salt,
and stir
well.

I'd definitely like one of these fancy ice cream machines... My favorite flavor is just plain old
chocolate, but made with raw cacao powder, avocado,
and young
coconut... Sounds kind of weird, but it's sooooo
good and pretty guilt free...
I usually whip
coconut milk (or heavy cream)
and coconut oil, add in
chocolate and a natural sugar
and it's the
best icing ever!!

The bit of
coconut oil helps the
chocolate chips melt more smoothly
and makes a
better dipping consistency.
It worked extremely
well in this decadent peanut butter
and chocolate concoction, which uses a little bit of cornstarch to thicken the
coconut and keep it creamy.
My favorite ice cream is hard for me to say, because my heart always love nutty or
coconut flavor one day
and the other wants coffee or
chocolate, but the
best i had in my entire life was Tiramisu flavor.
I'm trying to get off wheat
and sugar, so I've been loikong for a starter recipe using almond flour, this one turned out pretty
well, despite a lot of substitutions I used half chickpea flour, I added cocoa instead of
chocolate chips, subbed earth balance for the fat
and sweetened with a little
coconut sugar
and stevia.
I drained the now slightly discoloured
coconut oil off (I will use it in baking)
and poured the glug of
chocolate in a jar — it will make
good nutella or I will heat it
and use it as a
chocolate sauce when our grandson comes to visit.
These
chocolate bites are a little too easy to pop, but since they're only made with almond butter,
coconut flour,
and chocolate, it's definitely a
better alternative to Reese's.

To make the black layers, melt the 4 tablespoons of

chocolate whipped cream filling.
Adding a coating of
coconut flour is crucial because it allows for the bar to have a «protein - bar - shape» (otherwise they're too sticky to handle)
and it makes the
chocolate stick to the bar a lot
better.
