I hand stitched them together because I had a spare 10 minutes while the kids were cutting the ribbons but
Fabric glue will work just as
well.
If you are adding yarn,
fabric, or craft paper, hot
glue works the
best since the rock can be a difficult surface to have things stick to.
Make sure you get the edges
well glued, so the
fabric will really stick.
Even though I sewed mine, you can definitely use strong
fabric glue as
well, so go with whichever option makes the most sense for you.
Once you have the jacket & your patches, all you'll be needing is some
fabric glue & you're
good to go!

So I hot -
glued the
fabric to the end of each slat, much
better now.
