Well every one has his opinion. If you
feel Sanchez is a 9 I respect that.I also have my opinion
about how I rate him.I've seen many wingers play for
Arsenal and I know some who were as
good as Sanchez but were never called irreplaceable.Sanchez had far
better stats than them yet quality wise they'll always be mentioned and as regarded as Sanchez. What I will never put into to debate
about is him being world class. That's a fact no one can deny.
I am
feeling quite
good about Arsenal going to White Hart Lane tomorrow to face Spurs.
The Frenchman was talking this week
about why he
feels that
Arsenal are much more prepared for this title challenge compared to other recent seasons when we have been in a
good position only to see the EPL trophy slip away in the latter stages of the campaign.
That is why
Arsenal fans should be
feeling very happy
about the way that Euro 2016 has gone so far, unless you happen to be an England fan as
well of course but let's not go into that.
Speaking
about his development at
Arsenal and the admiration he has for
Arsenal's regular defensive stars, Bielik said: «I
feel stronger and
better at centre back.
Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't
good for the club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing
Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me
feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims
about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerting
The player involved, German international winger Karim Bellarabi, must be
feeling quite
good about himself after scouts from
Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Tottenham and Newcastle all turned up to watch him play for Bayer Leverkusen against the Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg in the Champions League this week.
I originally thought that
Arsenal have little or no chance of this transfer but Pires does have a point
about the Monaco, Henry and Mbappe connection and you could understand why this very promising young striker might
feel that
Arsenal under Le Prof would be a
good move for him.
Ozil is the least player in
Arsenal I will worry
about... Dude is a
good player but I don't like his style, I always
feel he should do a little bit more...
The photos of him laughing on the bench did it for me,
well out of order what ever he
feels about arsenal and his team mates now.
I enjoyed reading some of your stuff, you're logical and sound caring
about the
good of
Arsenal, but I
feel now it's more
about you than it is
Arsenal.
I am a
arsenal fan Bcos of wenger so l
feel bad when I talk bad
about him but he himself didn't do any
good for giving all these crap statements.
We know all too
well how Le Prof
feels about honouring contracts and as the young Spaniard has already committed himself to
Arsenal for the next six years then he should not be allowed to change his mind on a whim.
Hahahaha now someone is calling Petr Cech a double agent.I thought peeps were like Szczesny is shit he is this and that yes i would admit Szczesny costs us a lot but i was shocked no one
felt sorry for a 19 year old keeper being thrown into such a shaky defense even petr cech must be saying in his mind that he is shocked.Let me tell you some go for Buffon or any other legendary keeper and put him in this current
arsenal defense and he will still concede mad goals. But Szczesny and Cech both tied at highest clean sheets some seasons ago.Despite Cech having a defense which was light years ahead of this one and to me that speaks volumes
about his potential.I love you very much Szczesny i refuse to be ignorant and call you shit what if you were 19 years at Chelsea and started playing i will bet you would have been catching for them.I love you come back stronger for me ok the pitiful thing is that you will meet the same defense again.By the way Cech will come
good and stop comparing Ospina to him.
Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant
about all things
Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get
better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already
felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them
feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus on the head instead of the heart for now
Arsenal fans will spend all summer talking
about the players
Arsenal need to take the step up to win the title, especially when we talk
about the current players that we
feel are simply not
good enough for the team and need replacing, but according to one
Arsenal legend, David Seaman, we only need to bring in one more player after Jamie Vardy.
GUEST ARTICLES I am always happy to publish
well - written and interesting articles
about Arsenal from a fans point of view, so please
feel free to email me at the above address.
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years of his managerial career at
Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this club... there have been numerous managers at each of the biggest clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective clubs... of course that doesn't mean that clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a changing of the guard... in the case of
Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete
about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course
feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more
about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the
best, do you place the
best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state of Denmark
so a player who
feels what and how the fans
feel about the mediocrity of the club is now slated to be bigger than the club... wenger spent a donkey years at the club and won nothing yet he stays in fat contracts and yet he is not bigger than the club, remember last season when he complained that the salaries of the emirates workers was affecting the club transfer... imagine what a joke
arsenal has become... admin pls think of something
better to write
about and leave sanchez out of this... van pussy was a legend...
For the fans who do not think Coquelin's
good enough for
Arsenal, as Admin have just pointed out, I wonder how they
feel about other players then?
Despite what you
feel about Arsenal's financial basis, there is no doubt that if we want to have the
best chances of success, then we need to keep hold of our star players.
That is a very
good articles Wenger shou; ld never have been given a new contract he has completeky lossed the plot and if he is allowed to stay on things will get steaderly worse with our team I have supported
Arsenal for over 70 years and we have had some bad times during that period but I have never
felt the way I
feel at the moment I really hate Wenger now and have never said that
about any of our managers before But really believe Wenger will destroy our great club I believe the Boerd of Directors plus Usmanvof should out vote Kronke and make Usmanof the new Chairman then Usmanof will then sack Wenger As he said he would do if he was Chaiman then we could appoint a new Manager the one from Juventus or Atletico Madrid and Start to see
Arsenal begin to be great again
Mkhitaryan isn't that happy
about coming to
Arsenal at the moment but I'm sure he will
feel differently if we get Aubameyeng as
well.
What do you mean by average?I doubt you watched him closely at Bournemouth. He was their
best player and was running the show until the injuries came in.He always starts playing a bit like his old self when he plays string of games. Then just when his
about to remind us then the injuries come.Anyone who says he was average at Bournemouth obviously didn't watch him. Also I
feel the word «average «is used ignorantly a lot of times over here.I quite remember people here saying Serge Gnabry was average and deadwood. However, those that were watching him and knew his talent knew he wasn't average. If
Arsenal sell Wilshere then they must pray that he doesn't have an injury free season because if he does he's gonna be one of the
best.
So while some
Arsenal fans have complained
about the big centre forward not being
good enough ever since he joined us from the French club Montpellier some years ago, a lot of us and most rival fans think he is pretty
good and Giroud
feels pretty happy
about the credit and respect he gets at club level.
So with things going
well I just intend to talk
about the disappointment I
feel towards a whole lot of
Arsenal fans, with the way they have a lack of faith in our players when things go wrong.
Personally I don't
feel we are far away from having a team that is, in technical ability, ready to compete on all fronts, but Petit makes a very
good point
about the current striker situation at
Arsenal and it's a topic of discussion that will not go away until we are satisfied.
And when I read the comments from the young forward on
Arsenal.com
about enjoying the pressure of playing for a big club and
feeling that he has adapted
well to the demands of EPL football it made me question even more the wisdom of not trying to tap that enthusiasm while
Arsenal are in this current rut.
Of course it did not make up for
Arsenal's title challenge going wrong, but it did make us, or me at least,
feel a whole lot
better about life going into the summer.
If
Arsenal travel north to Anfield next weekend to play Liverpool and come away with nothing then I think we will all have
good reason to
feel pessimistic
about the Premier League season ahead, but I also think that the defeat away to Stoke City today should not cause us to worry too much, for a few reasons.
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no
better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to
better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty
good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly
about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question
feel good about the way their future potential employer
feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule
about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a
good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to
Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were
well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
These things can happen, especially early in a season, so does this Liverpool draw make you
Arsenal fans
feel better about our own struggle to beat Leicester?
There is no doubt that Spurs fans
feel strongly
about the former
Arsenal man and have every right to despise the defender for the decision he made in 2001, as
well as the manner in which that decision itself was handled.
So you might be a bit surprised to hear our German centre back Per Mertesacker in an
Arsenal.com report talking
about how
Arsenal will be
feeling good about the ground when they arrive to face Aston Villa in the FA cup final on Saturday.
Well, Arsene Wenger has finally come out and shown his true
feelings about the way he has been treated by some
Arsenal fans this season, and I have a
feeling that this means that Le Prof will be leaving
Arsenal after today's Cup Final.
Arsenal will be
feeling a lot
better about life right now and will
feel much more confident heading into the Premier League clash with Southampton at the Emirates.
He may have started only nine Premier League games last season, but I have a
feeling that
Arsenal are
about to see the
best of the England international Jack Wilshere.
I have a
good feeling that Sanchez will not leave, because there are rumors
about the new
Arsenal's promotional poster with Sanchez and Ozil on it.
Arsenal fans will
feel a whole lot
better about life as we head into the first international break with a win under our belts.
Good to know that I'm not the only one that
feels that the doom and gloom picture painted by the media and fans
about Arsenal is exaggerated... Tottenham and Liverpool fans laugh at us..
A scintillating first half with three goals was followed by a controlled and battling performance in the second half, so the
Arsenal stars at both ends of the pitch were left
feeling much
better about the chances of challenging for the title this season.
I
feel a bit like that
about Arsenal, just hope she gets
better.
Well media most
arsenal fans are disappointed and disgust, why, the team is not playing to its potential, yes we know
arsenal can play
better and we
feel strongly that the team is
about two players away from being champions, which seems to be a telltale problem over many years now, but due to the foolishness, stubbornness and bouts of favoritism by the RIDICULOUS MANAGER we are being denied this chance.
But the supporters
feel that they have lost any respect that Kroenke and the Board have for the fans, and ahead of the meeting the
Arsenal Supporters Trust had written a long plea to Kroenke asking him to make
good on his promise to interact with the fans and tell them
about his aims and objectives for the club going forward, but as I said the Silent One did not say one word, and it was left to Sir Chips Keswick to show his disdain for their request by saying; «Read the Daily Telegraph and you'll find out [what Kroenke thinks],» and he was roundly booed when he told the crowd to «write in if you have a problem».
Nicknames like «The Tank» or «The Hulk» show how our fans
feel about him, but it seems he impresses the
Arsenal players as
well, and if Alexis Sanchez is impressed enough to say he is difficult to get past, then he is definitely worth listening to!
Can we play you every week might
well be what the
Arsenal fans are thinking
about Pulis, and there is certainly an element of frustration to his thoughts and
feelings after his latest trip to north London, understandably so with such a rotten record.
Coaches
feel the need to warn those not playing in Europe
about what it will mean for their future selection prospects: a
good example is Park Chu - Young's seven minutes of league football over three seasons with
Arsenal ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
