Good question — we wanted to remove it (I did concrete countertops at our first
house and regretted not taking it out)
well, long story short we ended up not doing it again and we laid
painters tape across the edge and 1/4 inch onto the countertop as
well, used a straight edge razor to slice off the excess and it covered the sink perfectly!!
