a good idea of the story I want to write and the characters that inhabit it, but that's about it.

Ultimately, an origin
story idea seems to have a lot
of people running scared because they just don't always work out really
well.
In his
best - selling book A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, Donald Miller is consumed with the
idea of story.
In his new book, The
Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age
of American Innovation (Penguin), Jon Gertner vividly tells the
story of the transistor, as
well as the dozens
of other innovations that rolled out
of Bell Labs.
The duo also scored a lot
of free publicity in Atlanta by playing up the «local boys make
good» angle
of their

well as the
idea of a gay couple starting a company together.

well, what you said Stalin did, was exactly what Blockstream people did, they all kicked out the real people that supported and promoted the actual original
idea and system (in this case Bitcoin system) and then using censorship, propaganda and army
of USEFUL IDIOTS to fight their dirty wars, try to take out the original
idea, and replace the system with some other shit that will benefit them.

No matter what the
story, there is always some conceited idiot who thinks he has a
better idea of what makes for a
good story.
But I also want to say, if you had been here (I'm in Birmingham) and read some
of the
stories of people's kids being killed by this storm (so many had lost power already by earlier storms and had no
idea F4 and F5 tornodoes were about to hit, and their kids were at friends» houses... and then those friends» houses were totally destroyed, and several parents lost all
of their kids - I also know
of several people who lost their wives AND all
of their kids because they were at work while their family was at home)... anyways, if you could read some
of these
stories, who are you guys to tell them that their loved ones are not going off to a
better place?
In a time when
stories were passed on verbally and people had no
idea of how the world worked and so wanted their «god» to be bigger and
better than the next man's god, the
stories just got
better and bigger and more far fetched.
It was rather that whether you take the
story literally or as a mythical description
of what we mean by the Resurrection (namely, that the living presence
of the crucified Christ is present with us now), the
idea is
better forgotten, or rather is
better not entertained at all, that the Resurrection is parallel to the raising
of Lazarus from the grave in the Fourth Gospel.
A related religious
idea is that
of the goodness
of the created order, expressed for example in the Genesis creation
story in the recurring words «And God saw that it was
good».

story promises to wrestle with

good vs. evil, spirituality and,
